Safety

Placement
• The LS26 is designed to be installed free-standing or in a standard rack. 19”
• Ensure that no heavy items are placed on top of the LS26, which may cause damage to the unit.
Cleaning
• Use a soft cloth with a neutral detergent to clean the housing as required.
• Do not use solvents for cleaning the unit.

Applications
The LS26 is a signal distribution tool which can be used to split either 2 mono signals into 6 copies of
each or a single mono signal into 12 copies of the original. These are boosted back up to line – –
level and each given a volume control.
Applications for this function include …
• Zone level control for a venue with many rooms fed from the same stereo sound source (12
rooms for mono or 6 for stereo)
• Multi-amplifier signal distribution where amplifiers have no signal-through facility.
• Speech distribution to headphone amplifiers for interpreters/transcribers in conference
situations.
• Multi-level parallel processing in a studio scenario where several copies of the original are –
sent to various signal processors.
