Using the scale
Carefully unpack the scale and remove all packaging materials. Place the scale on a level,
stable surface.
Releasing the dial mechanism lock
Bring the black locking handle on the scales dial stand to a vertical position to unlock.
Releasing the damper lock
Loosen the screw on the support lid and then remove the lid.
Inside the support you will find a container with damping oil.
This container is tightly closed with a rubber plug during transport
to prevent leakage.
Use a screwdriver or a similar flat manual tool to push the rubber
plug off the oil damper on the piston rod all the way up to the
grooved wheel.
