• Keeptheapplianceanditscord
out of reach of children less than 8
years.
• Donotplaceyourapplianceoverorneardirectheatsourcessuchas
a stove or heating oven.
• Donotletcordhangoveredgeofatableorcounter,ortouchany
other appliances or hot surfaces.
• Placetheunitonaatandxedsurface,whichwouldberesistantto
heat.
• Afterhavingused,removethemainsplugfromthewallsocketand
allow it to cool down; move only after it has completely cooled down.
• Whennotinuseandbeforecleaning,disconnectthemainsplugfrom
power outlet.
• NEVER immerse the appliance into water for cleaning or any other
purposes; do not let any water / water steam leak into the unit.
• Donottouchmetalpartswheninuse.
• Avoidactionsthatmayharmordamagethecordorplugofyour
device. To unplug the appliance, first hold the plug and NEVER pull by
the cord.
• Donotoperateanyappliancewithadamagedcordorplugorafter
the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner,
such as by dropping down, etc. Do not attempt to repair it by yourself.
Immediately contact an Arzum Authorized Service. Be careful in using
only the original spare parts in your appliance.
• Whencleaning,donotuseharmfulchemicals,orabrasivecleansers
such as metal scourers, or steel wool.
• Useyourapplianceforitsintendedpurposesasrecommended.
USING YOUR APPLIANCE
• Beforeusingforthersttimerinsethe
waffle plates with tepid water and a little
dishwashing detergent.
• Werecommendyoutogreasethesurfaces
slightly, before using for the first time.
• Connectthemainsplugtothepoweroutlet.
Youmaynoticeaslightsmokeorodor.Thisis
normal and will not recur after a while.
Note: Ensure that the cord is kept well from the cooking plates when in use.
Use as a Waffle Maker
• Plugyourappliancetothesocket,set
the variable temperature button to a proper
position for cooking settings indicated on your
appliance, and preheat the unit.
• Theappliancewillbereadywhenthepilot
light (temperature light / green light) goes on.
• Gentlyopenthecoveranddisconnecttheplugfromthewalloutlet
and allow cooling.
WAFFLE RECIPE
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/4 glass oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 glasses flour
-1,5 glass milk
-1 packet baking powder
-1 packet vanillin
Directions:
- Whisk egg and sugar properly until it becomes foam.
- Continue to whisk by adding milk, oil and salt. While this process is
continuing, add flour gradually and make it a smooth consistency.
- Whisk together for a last time by adding baking powder and vanillin into
the dough as well.
• Pourwafedough,whichyouhaveprepared,intopreheatedwafe
plates of Arzum Waffy through a spoon.
• Wafewillbereadywithin4-6minutesaveragely.
