Clock
Plugging in for power
•  Connect the power adapter to a convenient wall outlet.
•  Once connected to power, the clock display fl ashes. 
Refer to the Clock section for instructions on properly 
setting the Clock.
Battery back-up operation
•  This clock is equipped with a timekeeping system that 
can be powered with 2 AA batteries (not included). The 
power failure protection circuit will not operate unless 
batteries are installed. 
•  When normal household power is interrupted, the 
batteries will power the clock to keep track of time and 
alarm settings programmed into memory. 
Setting clock manually
1.  In clock mode, press and hold  until the Set Clock 
clock fl ashes to enter the clock setting mode.
2.  Press   Clock Tuning  Clock Tuning   or  to set the 
time.
•  Press and hold  or     Clock Tuning 
Clock  Tuning •   to decrease or increase the time 
value quickly.
•  The clock time is displayed in 12 hour format. The PM 
indicator appears to show PM time.
3.  Press   to confi rm and exit clock setting Set Clock
mode. 
Radio
Turning on/off the Radio
In clock mode, press  to turn on the radio. Press FM / Recall 
Off to turn off the radio.
Tuning the radio
Press   Clock Tuning  Clock Tuning   or  to adjust the 
radio frequency. Press and hold   Clock Tuning  
or Clock Tuning   for two seconds to automatically search 
for the next available station.
Built-in AFC
The Built In Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) helps to 
reduce drift on FM reception and keeps the radio locked in 
on the FM station to which it is tuned.
This unit is equipped with an FM antenna at the back. Uncoil 
the antenna to its full length for best reception. Tape the 
end of the antenna onto the wall if possible to improve 
reception.
Station presets
To store a station as preset:
1.  Tune to a radio station.
2.  Press  . Preset location Store P01

To recall a preset station:
1.  While the radio is playing, press  . The FM / Recall
current preset station number shows on the display.
2.  Press  repeatedly to select a desired preset FM / Recall   
station.
Setting alarm time
This unit allows two alarms to be set.
1.  Before setting the time, make sure no audio is playing 
through the FM radio or Soundfl ow by pressing the   Off
button, then press and hold   to Set Alarm 1.Set Al 1
2.   Press   Clock Tuning  Clock Tuning   or  to set the 
alarm time. Press and hold  or  Clock Tuning  Clock 
Tuning   to decrease or increase the time value 
quickly. 
3.  To confi rm this alarm time, press  .  Set Al 1
4.  Follow steps 1 through 3 to Set Alarm 2.
Selecting alarm source
You may choose radio or alarm as your alarm source.
•  In clock mode, press  repeatedly to select Set Al 1 
desired alarm source (beep, radio, or off).
   – Wake to beep tone.BEEP
   – Wake to radio. (You will wake up to your RADIO
most recently tuned radio station.)
•  After setting Alarm 1, press  repeatedly to Set Al 2   
select alarm source for Alarm 2.
Tune to a valid desired station before you 
select wake to Radio.
Wake to radio
To set wake radio station:
1.  Turn on the radio and tune to the desired station.
2.   Turn off the radio and press  to set the alarm Set Al 1 
mode to radio, then press and hold   to adjust Set Al 1
the alarm time.
3.   After pressing  to store the alarm time you will Set Al 1 
be prompted to set the radio alarm volume.
4.   Press  or  to select the  Clock Tuning  Clock Tuning   
desired volume level.
5.   Press   to commit your selection.Set Al 1
The audio source must be turned off before 
setting alarm mode and time.
Ways to turn off alarm
•  To silence the alarm function momentarily, press    
Snooze/Sleep BEEP  RADIO. The  or   alarm mode 
indicator will be fl ashing during the snooze period. 
The alarm or radio will turn on again when the snooze 
period (9 minutes) is over.
•  To turn off the alarm, press  . The alarm or radio will   Off
activate again the next day.
Setting alarms Setting alarms
In sleep mode, the unit will turn off automatically after a 
specifi ed time (up to 90 minutes).
1.   Press  repeatedly to cycle through the  Snooze/Sleep
available durations for Sleep Mode (90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 
40, 30, 20, 10, or 0 minutes.) Note that the radio will 
automatically turn on when initiating SLEEP mode, 
and it will stay on for the duration of the selected 
Sleep time.
2.  To view remaining time in sleep mode, press Snooze/
Sleep.
3.  To cancel the sleep function, press or press Off   
Snooze/Sleep repeatedly to select OFF.

•  The AC/DC adapter supplied with this product is

placed on the apparatus.
•   Always leave suffi cient space around the product for 
ventilation. Do not place product in or on a bed, rug,

the apparatus.

adapter of the apparatus should be disconnected from 
the mains.
•  AC/DC adapter is a disconnect device. The AC/DC 
adapter should not be obstructed OR should be easily 
accessed during intended use.
•  The ventilation should not be impeded by covering 
the ventilation openings with items such as newspaper, 
table-cloths, curtains, etc.
•  No naked fl ame sources such as lit candles should be 
placed on the apparatus.
•  Batteries should be properly disposed of.

VOXX Accessories Corporation (the Company) warrants to 
the original retail purchaser of this product that should 
this product or any part thereof, under normal use and 
conditions, be proven defective in material or workmanship 
within 12 months from the date of original purchase, such 
defect(s) will be repaired or replaced with reconditioned 
product (at the Company’s option) without charge for parts 
and repair labor.
To obtain repair or replacement within the terms of this 
Warranty, the product is to be delivered with proof of 
warranty coverage (e.g. dated bill of sale), specifi cation of 
defect(s), transportation prepaid, to the Company at the 
address shown below.
This Warranty does not extend to the elimination of 
externally generated static or noise, to correction of antenna 
problems, loss/interruptions of broafast or internet service, 
to costs incurred for installation, removal or reinstallation of 
product, to corruptions caused by computer viruses, spyware 
or other malware, to loss of media, fi les, data or content, 
or to damage to tapes, discs, removable memory devices or 
cards, speakers, accessories, computers, computer peripherals, 
other media players, home networks or vehicle electrical 
systems.
This Warranty does not apply to any product or part thereof 
which, in the opinion of the Company, has suffered or 
been damaged through alteration, improper installation, 
mishandling, misuse, neglect, accident, or by removal or 
defacement of the factory serial number/bar code label(s). 
THE EXTENT OF THE COMPANY’S LIABILITY UNDER THIS 
WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT 
PROVIDED ABOVE AND, IN NO EVENT, SHALL THE 
COMPANY’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied 
warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or 
consequential damage so the above limitations or exclusions 
may not apply to you. This Warranty gives you specifi c legal 
rights and you may also have other rights which vary from 
state to state.
Recommendations before returning your product for a 
warranty claim:
•  Properly pack your unit. Include any remotes, memory 
cards, cables, etc. which were originally provided with 
the product. However DO NOT return any removable 
batteries, even if batteries were included with the 
original purchase. We recommend using the original 
carton and packing materials. Ship to the address shown 
below.
•  Note that product will be returned with factory default 
settings. Consumer will be responsible to restore any 
personal preference settings.

Power failure indicator
If you have not installed 2 AA batteries (not included) in the 
product, or the batteries run out while power is interrupted, 
all the settings (clock and alarm) will be lost. After AC power 
is restored, the digital display will fl ash to indicate that 
power was interrupted and you should readjust the time and 
alarm settings.
Note: It is recommended to replace the batteries at least 
once per year even if no power failures have occurred.
Use the USB charging port on the left of the dock to charge 
your smartphone or to power USB powered devices such as 
a USB type lamp or fan.
To connect your cell phone for charging:
Use a USB cable (not included) to connect your cell phone 
to the USB connector of the dock. Your cell phone should 
start charging.

all phones or electronic devices.

Playback with Soundfl ow
1.  Place your smartphone with audio playing on the top 
of the dock.
2.  Press Soundfl ow On / Off to enable Soundfl ow audio 
playback.
3.  The SOUNDFLOW indicator appears and the dock 
amplifi es your audio automatically.
•  Soundfl ow works with any smartphone or 
music player with an external speaker. No 
wires or cables are required.
•  If you are using your phone’s built in 
alarm or your favorite application to wake up, 
make sure Soundfl ow is on before you go to sleep.
The fi rst time you plug in your device it will 
automatically be in clock setting mode. Use the 
 Clock Tuning  Clock Tuning   or  buttons 
to set the time.
•  Normal operation will resume after AC power is 
restored so you will not have to reset the time and 
alarms.
To install the batteries:
1.   Remove battery compartment door (located at the 
bottom of the device) by applying thumb pressure to 
the tab on battery door and then lift the door out and 
off the cabinet.
2.   Insert 2 AA batteries (not included) to the battery 
compartment.
3.   Replace the compartment door.
 Clock Tuning – Select radio frequencies; when setting 
clock or alarm time, press to decrease time, or press and hold 
to decrease time rapidly.
Clock Tuning   – Select radio frequencies; when setting 
clock or alarm time, press to increase time, or press and hold 
to increase time rapidly.
Store – Store a radio station.
FM / Recall – Turn on the radio; recall stored radio stations.
Snooze/Sleep – Turn off the alarm function momentarily  
(9 minutes); activate sleep function.
General controls
•   To disable the alarm function completely, from clock 
mode press  or repeatedly  until no Set Al 1   Set Al 2 
alarm mode indicator shows on the display.
