Insulated Jacket Installation

Thank you for your purchase of this insulated jacket. There are a few important installation guidelines

which must be followed to allow safe operation of the gas appliance inside the jacket:

-Follow all safety instructions found in the owner’s manual of the gas

appliance being installed.

-The installation of the insulated jacket should only be completed by a licensed professional contractor.

-The installation of all gas connections should only be completed by a licensed gas professional.

- The use of rubbergas lines directly connected to the appliance is prohibited regardless of whether or

not they were included with the appliance. Rubber lines could become either cut or worn over time or

affected by the heat of the appliance. Use a stainless steel flex line to the appliance. when connecting

--Your gas appliance comes with preinstalled fittings that may or may not be suitable for your

application. The use of different fittings and/or gas pipe extensions may be required to ensure the gas

line doesn’t kink and that any excess line doesn’t remain inside the insulated jacket.

- Checkingfor gas leaks as a final step is necessary for safety. Correct any leaks that are found.

Note: This insulated jacket provides protection from combustible

materials from the cooking surface below ONLY. Therefore all

necessary clearances above, behind, and liance adjacent to the app

itself must still be adhered to. Pleaseconsult the owner’s manual of

the appliance for clearance details.
