Read and understand the manual for use of this

accessory with the tool.

 This accessory is for 90 degree cuts only.

1. Remove plug from power source, and remove the blade guard

assembly.

2. Lower the blade completely below the table surface.

3. Lay insert in the table opening as shown in figure 1, and secure in

place with the four mounting screws provided.

4. Turn saw on and slowly raise blade as high as it will go until blade

cuts completely through the insert to rear slot opening.

5. Reattach the blade guard assembly.



The table insert should be adjusted so it is flush with the saw table

surface (Fig. 2).

The GTS1031 table insert slot includes four (4) adjustment screws to

set the height (Fig. 3). Place the insert onto the table. Place a straight

edge (such as the metal ruler from a combination square) across the

table top and insert top – the surfaces should be at the same level

(Fig. 2). If adjustment is necessary, use the included 2 mm “L wrench”

(packed with GTS1031) to rotate each set screw up or down.

Never operate the saw without the proper insert in place. Use the

saw insert when sawing and the dado insert when da doing.
