IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS
When using this or any other electrical appliance, always follow these basic
safety precautions, especially when children are present.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, serious personal injury and property
damage, please note the following:
• Ensure that the hot pot matches your local electrical supply. Using incorrect
voltage can damage the hot pot or pose a fire hazard.
• Before each use, inspect the hot pot for any visible damage. If any parts are
broken or damaged, do not use the dispenser and refer to the warranty policy
on page 6 for guidance.
• Inspect the cord for damage, fraying, or loose connections before plugging in
to prevent electrical hazards.
• Ensure the hot pot is on a flat, non-slip, and heat-resistant surface to prevent
tipping or damaging delicate surfaces.
• To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not use the hot pot near sinks, open taps,
or areas where water might splash.
• Upon initial use, a smoky smell may occur as protective coatings or films on
the hot pot's parts burn off. This process is normal and ensures proper
appliance function and safety.
• Overfilling can cause boiling water or food to spill over, leading to burns or
damage to the heating element. Always follow the maximum capacity
indicated.
• Running the hot pot without enough water can cause dry boiling, overheating,
and potentially damage it.
• Always monitor your cooking, as leaving the hot pot unattended increases the
risk of overheating, spills, or even fire hazards.
• Avoid using metal utensils inside nonstick-coated pots to prevent scratching
the surface, which could lead to food sticking or uneven heating.
• Unplug the hot pot and let it cool completely before cleaning to avoid burns
and protect the heating element.
• Heating elements and electrical components should never be submerged. Only
clean the removable parts separately.
• Clean the hot pot with a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid harsh scouring pads and
abrasive detergents that can damage the surface.
• Regular cleaning prevents food residue from accumulating, ensuring optimal
performance and hygiene.
• To prevent rust, mold, or electrical hazards, make sure the hot pot is
completely dry before putting it away.
