refrigerator contains a refrigerant gas (R600a: isobutane) and

insulating gas (cyclopentane), with high compatibility with the

environment,thatare,however,inammable.

BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCECHAPTER 1.

General warnings

WARNING: Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance

enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction.

WARNING: Do not use mechanical devices or other means

to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those

recommended by the manufacturer.

WARNING: Do not use electrical appliances inside the food

storage compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the

type recommended by the manufacturer.

WARNING: Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.

WARNING: In order to avoid any hazards resulting from the

instabilityoftheappliance,itmustbexedinaccordancewith

the following instructions:

•If your appliance uses R600a as a refrigerant (this

informationwillbeprovidedonthelabelofthecooler)you

should take care during transportation and installation to

prevent the cooler elements from being damaged. R600a

is an environmentally friendly and natural gas, but it is

explosive.Intheeventofaleakduetodamageofthecooler

elements,moveyourfridgeawayfromopenamesorheat

sources and ventilate the room where the appliance is

located for a few minutes.

•While carrying and positioning the fridge, do not damage the

cooler gas circuit.

•Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans

withaammablepropellantinthisappliance.

•This appliance is intended to be used in household and

domestic applications such as:

- staff kitchen areas in shops, ofces and other working

environments.

- farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other

•If the socket does not match the refrigerator plug, it must be

replaced by the manufacturer, a service agent or similarly

•A specially grounded plug has been connected to the power

cable of your refrigerator. This plug should be used with

a specially grounded socket of 16 amperes. If there is no

suchsocketinyourhouse,pleasehaveoneinstalledbyan

authorised electrician.

•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years

mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if

•If there is a power failure do not open the lid. Frozen food

should not be affected if the failure lasts for less than 20

hours. If the failure is longer, then the food should be checked

and eaten immediately or cooked and then refrozen.

•Ifyoundthatthelidofthechestfreezerisdifculttoopen

justafteryouhaveclosedit,don’tworry.Thisisduetothe

pressure difference which will equalize and allow the lid to

be opened normally after a few minutes.

•Do not connect the appliance to the electricity supply until all

packingandtransitprotectorshavebeenremoved.

•Leavetostandforatleast4hoursbeforeswitchingonto

allow compressor oil to settle if transported horizontally.

•This freezer must only be used for its intended purpose (i.e.

storing and freezing of edible foodstuff).

•Do not store medicine or research materials in the Wine

Coolers. When the material that requires a strict control of

storage temperatures is to be stored, it is possible that it will

cause risks.

•Before performing any operation, unplug the power cord

from the power socket.

•On delivery, check to make sure that the product is not

damaged and that all the parts and accessories are in

perfect condition.

•If in the refrigeration system a leak is noted, do not touch the

andletairintotheroom.Thencallaservicecentertoask

for repair.

•Do not use extension cords or adapters.

lamps and the like in order to speed up the defrosting phase.

•Neverusewaterwashthecompressorposition,wipeitwith

adrycloththoroughlyaftercleaningtopreventrust.

Old and out-of-order fridges

•Ifyourold fridge hasalock, break orremove the lockbefore discarding it,because

children may get trapped inside it and may cause an accident.

•Old fridges and freezers may contain isolation material and refrigerant with CFC

orHFC.Therefore,takecarenottoharmenvironmentwhenyouarediscarding

your old fridges..

Please ask your municipal authority about the disposal of the WEEE reuse,

recycleandrecoverypurposes.

•Please read the instruction manual carefully before installing and using your appliance.

Safety warnings

compartment as they can burst as the contents freeze.

sure that their tops are tightly closed.

•Whenremovingicefromtheice-making compartment,donottouch it.

immediatelyafteryouhavetakenthemoutoftheice-makingcompartment.

•Do not re-freeze frozen goods after they have melted. This may cause

Installing and operating your fridge

Before using your fridge, you should pay attention to the following points:

•Theoperatingvoltageforyourfridgeis220-240Vat50Hz.

•We do not accept responsibility for any damages that occur due to ungrounded usage.

•Place your fridge where it will not be exposed to direct sunlight.

•Yourapplianceshouldbeatleast50cmawayfromstoves,gasovensandheatercores,

andatleast5cmawayfromelectricalovens.

•Yourfridgeshouldneverbeusedoutdoorsorexposedtorain.

•When your fridge is placed next to a deep freezer, there should be at least 2 cm between

themtopreventhumidityformingontheoutersurface.

•Do not place anything on your fridge, and install your fridge in a suitable

placesothatatleast15cmoffreespaceisavailableaboveit.

•Use the adjustable front legs to make sure your appliance is level and

stable. You can adjust the legs by turning them in either direction. This

should be done before placing food in the fridge.

•Before using your fridge, wipe all parts with a solution of warm water and a teaspoon

of sodium bicarbonate, then rinse with clean water and dry. Place all parts in the fridge

after cleaning.

•Installthe plasticdistance guide(the part with black vanes at therear)

byturning it90°(asshownin thegure)topreventthecondenserfrom

touching the wall.

•The refrigerator should be placed against a wall with a free space not

exceeding 75 mm.

Before Using your Fridge

•Whenusingyourfridgeforthersttime,oraftertransportation,keepit

in an upright position for at least 3 hours before plugging into the mains.

Thisallowsefcientoperationandpreventsdamagetothecompressor.

•Yourfridgemayhaveasmellwhenitisoperatedforthersttime.This

is normal and the smell will fade away when your fridge starts to cool.

of your fridge frequently and do not place much food inside it in this period.

•Duringpowercut,topreventanycompressorproblemyoushouldunplugtherefrigerator.

You should delay pluging in 5 – 10 minutes after your power supply returns. If you plug

out the refrigerator for a reason you should wait at least 5 min to replug. It is important

foravoidingdamagetorefrigerator’scomponents.

•Yourfridgeisdesignedto operateintheambient temperatureintervalsstated inthe

standards, according to the climate class stated

in the information label. We do not recommend

operating your fridge out of stated temperatures

valuelimitsintermsofcoolingeffectiveness.

•This appliance is designed for use at an

ambient temperature within the 10°C - 43°C

range.

Temperature indicator

Inordertohelpyoubettersetyourrefrigerator,wehaveequippeditwith

a temperature indicator located in the coldest area.

To better store the food in your refrigerator, especially in the coldest area,

make sure the message “OK” appears on the temperature indicator. If

« OK » does not appear, this means that the temperature setting has

not been done properly.

Since“OK”appearsinblack,itwillbedifculttoseethisindicationifthe

temperature indicator is badly lit. To be able to see this indication properly, there

should be enough light.

Eachtimethetemperaturesettingdeviceischanged,waitforthestabilisation

of the temperature inside the appliance before proceeding, if necessary, with a

new temperature setting. Please change the position of the temperature setting

deviceprogressivelyandwaitatleast12hoursbeforestartinganewcheckand

potential change.

NOTE: Following repeated openings (or prolonged opening) of the door or

after putting fresh food into the appliance, it is normal for the indication “OK”

not to appear in the temperature setting indicator. If there is an abnormal ice

crystals build up (bottom wall of the appliance) on the refrigerator

compartment evaporator (overloaded appliance, high room

temperature, frequent door openings), put the temperature setting

deviceonalowerpositionuntilcompressoroffperiodsareobtained

again.

Putting food in the coldest area of the refrigerator

Your foods will be better stored if you put them in the most appropriate cooling

area.Thecoldestareaisjustabovethecrisper.

The following symbol indicates the coldest area of your refrigerator.

Tobesuretohavealowtemperatureinthisarea,makesuretheshelfislocated

atthelevelofthissymbol,asshownintheillustration.

The upper limit of the coldest area

is indicated by the lower side of the

sticker (head of the arrow). The coldest

area upper shelf must be at the same

levelwiththearrowhead.Thecoldest

areaisbelowthislevel.

Astheseshelvesareremovable,make

suretheyarealwaysatthesamelevel

with these zone limits described on

the stickers, in order to guarantee

temperatures in this area.

•Pull the box out as far as possible

•Pull the front of box up and out.

! Make the inverse of the same operation for the resetting the sliding compartment.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCECHAPTER 4.

• Disconnect the unit from the power supply before cleaning.

•Do not clean the appliance by pouring water.

•Make sure that no water enters the lamp housing and other electrical

components.

•The refrigerator should be cleaned periodically using a solution of

bicarbonate of soda and lukewarm water.

•Clean the accessories separately with soap and water Do not

clean them in the dishwasher.

•Donotuseabrasiveproducts,detergentsorsoaps.Afterwashing,rinse

with clean water and dry carefully. When you have nished cleaning,

reconnect the plugto the mains supply with dry hands.

•Clean the condenser with a broom at least twice a year. This will

helpyoutosaveonenergycostsandincreaseproductivity.

THE POWER SUPPLY MUST BE DISCONNECTED.

Defrosting

Defrosting the fridge compartment

•Defrosting occurs fully automatically in fridge compartment during operation; the

defrostedwatercollectedbytheevaporatingtrayandevaporatesautomatically.

•Theevaporatingtrayandwaterdrainhole(backoftherefrigeratorcrispershelf)should

becleanedperiodicallytopreventthewaterfromcollectingonthebottomofthefridge

insteadofowingout.

Defrosting the freezer compartment

•Thefrost,whichcoversthe shelvesofthefreezercompartment,shouldbe removed

periodically.

•Do not use sharp metal objects for this operation. They could puncture the refrigerant

circuitandcauseirreparabledamagetotheunit.Usetheplasticscraperprovided.

•Whenthereismorethan5mmoffrostontheshelves,defrostingmustbecarriedout.

•Before defrosting, place the frozen food in a cool

place after wrapping it in sheets of newspaper (this

will help the food to maintain it’s tempertaure for

longer).

•To accelerate the defrosting process, place one

or more bowls of warm water in the freezer

compartment.

•Dry the inside of the compartment with a sponge or

a clean cloth.

•Once the unit has been defrosted, place the food

into freezer and remember to consume it in a short

period of time.

Replacing the light bulb

To replace the bulb in the fridge compartments;

1. Unplug your fridge freezer.

2. Usingascrewdriver,carefullyremovethelightcoverfromthetoppanel.(a)

3. Replace with a 15 watt bulb. (b)

4. Reinstallthelightcover.(c)

5. Wait for 5 minutes before re-plugging the fridge in and restore the thermostat to its original

position.

Replacing LED lighting

If your refrigerator has LED lighting contact the help desk as this should be changed by

authorized personnel only.

ARRANGING FOOD IN THE APPLIANCECHAPTER 5.

Refrigerator compartment

•Toreducehumidityandconsequentincreaseoffrostneverplaceliquidsinunsealed

containers in the refrigerator. Frost tends to concentrate in the coldest parts of the

evaporatorandintimewillrequiremorefrequentdefrosting.

•Never place warm food in the refrigerator. Warm food should be allowed to cool at

room temperature and should be arranged to ensure adequate air circulation in the

refrigerator compartment.

•Nothing should touch on the back wall as it will cause frost and the packages can stick

on the back wall. Do not open the refrigerator door too frequently.

•Arrangethemeatandcleanedsh(wrappedinpackagesorsheetsofplastic)whichyou

willusein1-2days,inthebottomsectionoftherefrigeratorcompartment(thatisabove

the crisper) as this is the coldest section and will ensure the best storing conditions.

•Youcanputthefruitsandvegetablesintocrisperwithoutpacking.

Somerecommendationshavebeenspeciedbelowfortheplacementandstorageofyour

food in the cooling compartment.

NOTE: Potatoes, onions and garlic should not be stored in the refrigerator.

Freezer compartment

•Please use the deep freeze compartment of your refrigerator for storing the frozen food

for a long time and for producing ice.

•Togetmaximumcapacityforfreezercompartment,pleasejustuseglassshelvesfor

upper and middle section. For bottom section, please use lower basket.

•For optimum appliance performance to reach maximum freezing capacity, Set the

refrigerator at 4 for 24 hours before placing fresh food into the freezer.

•After placing fresh food into the freezer, change the setting to 5 for 24 hours is generally

sufcient.After24hours,youcanreducethesettingifrequired.

•Please do not place the food you shall newly freeze nearby the already frozen food.

•Youshouldfreezethefoodtobefrozen(meat,mincedmeat,sh,etc.)bydividingthem

into portions in such a way that they can be consumed once.

•Please do not refreeze the frozen food once they are thawed. It may pose a danger for

your health since it might cause problems such as food poisoning.

•Do not place the hot meals in your deep freeze before they become cold. You would

What to do if your appliance does not operate

Check that:

Avvertenza: Rischio di incendio / materiali inammabili

• Nel caso in cui il dispositivo si serva di R600a come refrigerante (è

possibile consultare l'etichetta incollata sul dispositivo), sarebbe

opportuno prestare particolare attenzione in fase di trasporto e di

installazione al ne di evitare il danneggiamento degli elementi

di raffreddamento del dispositivo. Nonostate il R600a siaun

gas naturale e rispettoso dell'ambiente, dato che è esplosivo, in

caso di perdite derivanti da danni agli elementi del dispositivo,

spostare il frigorifero da amme libere o sorgenti di calore e

ventilare la stanza all'interno della quale si trova il dispositivo per

• Evitare nel modo più assoluto l'uso di amme libere o

apparecchiature elettriche (ad es. stufe, pulitrici a vapore,

lo sbrinamento.

• Non lavare con acqua la zona del compressore, ma dopo

Frigoriferi vecchi e fuori produzione

riutilizzo, riciclaggio e ripristino.

Il termostato del freezer regola automaticamente la temperatura interna degli scomparti.

Ruotando la manopola da 1 a 5 è possibile ottenere una

temperatura più fredda.

Nota importante: Non tentare di ruotare la manopola

oltre la posizione 1: così facendo l'apparecchio cesserà

di funzionare.

Impostazione termostato freezer & frigorifero;

1 – 2 : Per la conservazione a breve termine del cibo nello

scomparto freezer, la manopola può essere posizionata tra la

posizione minima e la media.

3 – 4 : Per la conservazione per un lungo periodo del cibo nello

scomparto freezer, la manopola può essere posizionata sulla

posizione media.

5 : Per refrigerare il cibo fresco. L’apparecchio lavorerà più a lungo. Di conseguenza una

volta raggiunta la condizione di freddo si deve tornare alla posizione precedente.

Thermostat control

Avvertenze sulle regolazioni di temperatura

• Le regolazioni della temperatura non saranno cancellate quando si verica un black-

out.

• Le regolazioni di temperatura devono essere eseguite secondo la frequenza di apertura

dello sportello e la quantità di alimenti conservati nel frigorifero.

• Non passare a un'altra regolazione prima di averne completato una.

FUNZIONI E POSSIBILITA' VARIE

PARTE - 3

Se è presente il pulsante Super:

a) Congelamento Super: Nel caso in cui la

temperatura ambiente sia superiore ai 18 °C sarà

possibile usare l’interruttore come interruttore di

super congelamento.

Per congelare il cibo fresco o quando la spia ROSSA

è accesa. L’apparecchio lavora più a lungo. Pertanto,

dopo aver raggiunto una condizione di freddo (o la

spia rossa si è spenta) bisogna tornare alla posizione

precedente.

Prestazione con bassa temperatura ambiente:

se la temperatura ambiente è inferiore a 18°C,

questo interruttore può essere usato per una buona

prestazione.

b) Funzionamento con bassa temperatura

ambiente: Qualora la temperatura ambiente sia inferiore ai 18 °C, questo pulsante

dovrebbe essere acceso per migliorare le impostazioni della bassa temperatura ambiente.

Qualora la temperatura ambiente sia superiore ai 18 °C, il pulsante va spento a ni di

risparmio energetico (eccezion fatta in fase di congelamento di alimenti freschi)

• È necessario congelare gli alimenti (carne, tritato, pesce, ecc.) dividendoli in porzioni in

modo tale che possano essere consumati in una sola volta.

• Non congelare nuovamente gli alimenti congelati una volta scongelati. Ciò potrebbe

rappresentare un rischio per la saluta e causare problemi come avvelenamento da

cibo.

• Non collocare alimenti caldi nel cassone di surgelazione prima che siano freddi. Ciò

causa la putrefazione degli altri alimenti presenti nel cassone.

• Quando si acquistano alimenti congelati, assicurarsi che siano stati congelati nelle

condizioni adeguate e che la confezione non sia strappata.

• Quando si conservano alimenti congelati, le condizioni di conservazione sulla

confezione devono essere osservate. Se non sono presenti indicazioni, gli alimenti

devono essere consumati nel più breve tempo possibile.

• Se la confezione degli alimenti è stata soggetta a deumidicazione ed emette cattivi

odori, gli alimenti potrebbero essere stati conservati in condizioni inadatte ed essersi

marcite. Non acquistare questo genere di alimenti!

• La durata di conservazione degli alimenti congelati dipende dalla temperatura

ambientale, dall'apertura e chiusura frequente degli sportelli, dalle impostazioni del

termostato, dal tipo di alimenti e dal tempo trascorso dal momento dell'acquisto degli

alimenti sino al momento in cui viene collocato nel congelatore. Osservare sempre le

istruzioni sulla confezione e non superare la durata di conservazione indicata.

• Nota: se si vuole aprire immediatamente dopo la chiusura dello sportello del frigorifero,

non si aprirà facilmente. È perfettamente normale! Dopo avere raggiunto la condizione

di equilibrio, lo sportello si apre con facilità.

Nota importante:

• Alimenti congelati, se scongelati, devono essere cotti come quelli freschi. Se non

vengono cotti dopo essere stati scongelati non devono MAI essere nuovamente

congelati.

• Il sapore di alcune spezie presenti nei piatti cotti (anice, basilico, crescione, aceto,

spezie assortite, zenzero, aglio, cipolla, senape, timo, maggiorana, pepe nero, ecc.)

cambia e assumono in sapore forte quando vengono conservati per lunghi periodi.

Pertanto, agli alimenti congelati dovrebbero essere aggiunte piccole quantità di spezie

del genere desiderato dopo che il cibo è stato scongelato.

• Il periodo di conservazione degli alimenti dipende dall'olio usato. Gli oli adatti sono

margarina, grasso di vitello, olio d'oliva e burro gli oli non adatti non olio di noccioline

e grasso di maiale.

• Gli alimenti in forma liquida devono essere congelati in coppe di plastica e gli altri

alimenti devono essere congelati in fogli o buste di plastica.

TRASPORTO E RIPOSIZIONAMENTO

• Conservare la confezione e l’imballaggio originale per nuovi futuri spostamenti

(opzionale).

• Chiudere bene il frigo, tenendolo in posizione, con fasce o cordicelle, quindi attenersi

alle istruzioni per il trasporto fornite sulla confezione.

• Togliere le parti rimovibili (ripiani, accessori, cassetti

verdura, ecc.) o ssarli nel frigo per evitare che subiscano

urti. A tal ne, usare fasce in fase di riposizionamento e

trasporto.

Mettere il frigorifero in posizione eretta.

• Non è possibile modicare la direzione di aperture dello sportello del frigorifero se le

maniglie sul frigorifero sono installata dalla supercie anteriore della porta.

• Le gaz réfrigérant R600a qui est contenu dans le réfrigérateur

est un gaz naturel et non nuisible à l’environnement, mais

combustible. Il est donc important de transporter et installer

votre réfrigérateur avec soin an de ne pas endommager

les conduits réfrigérants. Dans le cas d’un choc ou fuite

de gaz,éviter tout contact avec une amme ou un foyer à

proximité et ventiler le local.

• Il est recommandé de ne pas utiliser des objets métalliques

pointus ou autres objects articiels pour accélérer la

décongelation.

• Ne pas stocker dans cet appareil des substances explosives

réaction incontrôlée se produise, laquelle peut entraîner des

risques.

• Avant de procéder à tout fonctionnement, débrancher le

cordon électrique de la prise électrique.

• A la livraison, vériez que le produit n'est pas endommagé

et que toutes les pièces et les accessoires sont en parfait

état.

• Si une fuite est détectée dans le système de réfrigération,

ne pas toucher la sortie murale et ne pas utiliser de ammes

ouvertes. Ouvrir la fenêtre et aérer la pièce. Ensuite appeler

un service après-ventes pour demander une réparation.

• Ne pas utiliser de rallonges ni d'adaptateurs.

• Ne pas tirer ou plier de manière excessive le cordon

d'alimentation ou ne pas toucher la che avec les mains

mouillées.

• Ne pas endommager la che et/ou le cordon d'alimentation

; cela pourrait provoquer des chocs électriques ou des

incendies.

• Si le câble d’alimentation est endommagé, il doit être

remplacé par le fabriquant, un agent après-vente ou toute

autre personne qualiée pour éviter tout danger.

• Ne pas placer ou conserver des substances inammables

ou hautement volatiles tels que l'éther, le pétrole, le GPL, le

gaz propane, les bombes d'aérosol, les colles, l'alcool pur

etc. Ces substances peuvent provoquer une explosion.

• Ne pas utiliser ou conserver des sprays inammables, tels

que de la peinture en aérosol, auprès du rafraîchisseur de
