IMPORTANT WARNINGS
• Read carefully this booklet which contains important information concerning the safety of installation,
operation and maintenance of the unit.
• The instructions contained in this booklet are exclusively referred to our Gas operated Barbecues
of the Class indicated in the Table.
• This Booklet must be kept with the barbecue for future reference. In case of sale or assignment of the Barbecue,
make sure that the Booklet accompanies it, so that the new user can get familiar with the operation and warnings.
• The Barbecue should be positioned on a horizontal level.
• Do not move the Barbecue when in operation.
• Any alteration of the Barbecue might be dangerous.
II. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
ATTENTION!: ACCESSIBLE PARTS MAY BECOME HOT: KEEP CHILDREN AT DISTANCE.
1. START UP
WARNINGS:
• For the connection use only hoses conforming to UNI-CIG 7140 8 mm diameter with a maximum extension
of 1,5 m. In case of damaged hose, do not attempt repairing it, but replace it and, in any case,
replace it within the date printed on it.
• Make sure to connect the hose using a clamp conforming to UNI-CIG 7141.
• On the gas cylinder use only pressure regulators conforming to UNI-CIG 7432.
• Make sure that the position of the gas hose is not such to cause torsion stress to it.
• ATTENTION! Keep this unit far from fl ammable material.
• ATTENTION! During use, accessible parts become hot, so protective gloves should be used.
• Avoid placing the unit near walls.
• Check the unit tightness using a water-soap solution.
• Close the gas tap after use.
• Properly place the lava stone on the grid provided for this purpose.
1.1 IGNITION (FIG. 3)
A) Press and simultaneously turn the knob (Z) anti-clockwise to the position max ( ).
B) Strike a match and reach the hole; visually check if the burner has ignited: if so, wait for a few seconds,
then release the knob. If the burner goes out, repeat this operation.
C) For the Economy mode, torn the knob (Z) to the position "min" ( ).
1.2 SWITCHING OFF (FIG. 3)
Turn the knob from position "max" or "min" to position "•"
III CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION! To ensure a correct and durable performance of the unit, keep it clean al all limes.
To clean the unit proceed as follows.
Switch off the burner.
Let unit cool down.
Clean the parts in contact with food using lukewarm water and chlorine-free products. Avoid using corrosive substances.
Periodically check the Venture pipe for deposits, particularly at the point of fresh air intake.
ATTENTION!
Periodically check for deposits in order to ensure a trouble-free operation of the burner.
WARNING:
If you notice that the gas cock has become hard to operate, either lubricate or replace it.
In both cases, this should be done by an authorized Service centre.
