The CESYS USB-ISOLATOR
breaks the electrical connection
between host PC and USB
device. Thus, cross currents
and mutual influences will be
inhibited.
For audio applications, this
process is called "ground lift";
in measuring and control
technology it is called "galvanic
isolation". The most frequent
cause of noise interferences
and inaccurate measurements
will be eliminated in this way.

Ground loops caused by USB
connections in recording
studios or at stage applications
will be prevented effectively.
An additional delay (latency
period) will not occur.
Precise measurement
results.
Without disturbing
interferences, more precise
results can be achieved in the
measurement technology.

become possible where the
signal to be measured has no
reference the to PC ground.
Safety and protection.
When controlling illumination
arrangements (e.g.
discotheque, stage), electrical
equipment or machines via
USB, the galvanic isolation will
provide protection against
damages on the host computer.
