Before initial use

1. Read the section below.Safety

2. Remove all packaging and ensure that there are no foreign objects remaining

inside thetoaster.

3. Wipe theexterior of thetoaster with adampcloth.

4. Make sure that thecrumb tray is pushed all theway in and that thetoasting lever

is fully raised.

5. Connect themains lead to a230 V powerpoint.

6. Set thebrowning control to level .1

7. Depress thetoasting lever without having put any bread into theslots.

Thetoaster might emit asmall amount of smoke as themanufacturing residue is

burned off; this is quite normal and will stop as theheating elements get hotter.

8. Repeat points 6 and 7 afewtimes.

on how thetoaster works.

Safety

• Toast can start to burn, so theproduct should not be placed

close to or beneath ﬂammable materials such as curtains.

• Never use theproduct together with atimer switch, multi-

socket extension lead or similar device.

• Unplug themains lead and let theproduct cool before cleaning it.

If theproduct has acrumb tray it should be emptied and

cleaned regularly. Use asoft, damp cloth to clean thehousing.

Never use solvents or abrasive cleaning agents.

• Theproduct may be used by children of 8 years and above and

by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability

or lack of experience and knowledge provided they have been

given supervision or instruction concerning use of theproduct

in asafe way and understand thehazards involved.
