Safety
General requirements for household electrical appliances
WARNING
• If themains lead is damaged in any way it must be replaced by aqualified electrician.
• Keep theproduct out of children’sreach. Children must be supervised and never
allowed to play with theproduct.
• Theproduct may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or persons with alack of experience or knowledge which could
jeopardise their safety, provided they have been instructed in thesafe operation of
theproduct and understand thehazards involved.
Particular requirements for high pressure cleaners
WARNING
• Theproduct has been designed for use with thecleaning agent supplied or
recommended by themanufacturer. Theuse of other cleaning agents may
adversely affect thesafety of theproduct.
• All persons present within theworking area of theproduct must wear protective
clothing.
• Risk of explosion – Never use theproduct to spray flammable liquids.
• Theproduct must not be used by children or untrained operators.
• High pressure hoses, fittings and couplings are important for thesafe use
of theproduct. Onlyuse hoses, fittings and couplings recommended by
themanufacturer.
• Only use original parts for repairs and for your own safety.
• Water that has passed through thenon-return valve should be considered to be
non-potable.
• Theproduct must never be connected to thepower supply during cleaning,
maintenance or when changing accessories.
• Do not use theproduct if themains lead or other parts such as safety devices,
high pressure hoses or trigger are damaged in anyway.
