INSTRUCTIONS
This flat iron is intended for household use.
Use on Alternating Current (60 hertz) only.
This unit is designed to be operated at 120
volts AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other). As a safety
feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet
only one way. If the plug does not fit fully
in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not
attempt to defeat this safety feature.
NOTE: Do not use this styling appliance on hair
extensions.
GETTING STARTED
Plug the iron into an electrical outlet. Press
ON/OFF button. The iron will heat up to the
default temperature setting (338°F/170°C).
Adjust temperature to desired level. Red
light will blink until unit reaches desired
temperature setting, then light will become
solid. To turn off, press ON/OFF button (light
will go off). Never leave your flat iron on and
unattended. However, should you fail to turn
the unit off, it will shut itself off automatically
within 60 minutes.
WARNING: The flat iron’s Double Ceramic
plates will get very hot within a few
seconds and should not come into contact
with the skin after the flat iron has been
turned on.

TO STRAIGHTEN HAIR
Hair should be clean and completely dry
before using the flat iron. For best results,
use a light styling product before blow-drying
hair.
1. Start with a hair section that is 1½ inches
wide and no more than ½ inch thick.
2. Open the iron and place the hair section
between the two hot plates, close to the
scalp. Trap hair between the plates by firmly
squeezing the handles together.
3. While maintaining the tension, slowly pull
the unit down along the hair section toward
the ends. At the ends, release the pressure on
the handle and allow the hair to slide out.
4. Repeat the process on additional sections
of hair until you achieve the hairstyle you
desire. It may be necessary to repeat the
process on certain areas, depending on the
texture of your hair.
Some experience is necessary when learning
to use this flat iron. After using the iron
several times, you will learn the ideal way to
straighten and style your hair.
ADD VOLUME AND SHAPE
To add flips and waves, secure ends between
plates and wrap hair around the outer
housing. It’s an easy way to add shape to
straight styles. Turn your wrist up or under to
create flips, add curl or more body.

DE USO
Para uso doméstico solamente. Úselo
solamente con corriente alterna (60 Hz). Este
aparato ha sido diseñado para funcionar con
corriente de 110–120 V AC
El cable de este aparato cuenta con un
enchufe polarizado (una pata es más ancha
que la otra). Como medida de seguridad, se
podrá enchufar de una sola manera en la
toma de corriente polarizada. Si no entra en
la toma de corriente, inviértalo.
FUNCIONAMIENTO BÁSICO
Enchufe el cable en una toma de corriente.
Presione el botón de encendido/apagado; el
aparato se calentará hasta la temperatura
por defecto (338°F/170°C). Ajuste la
temperatura al nivel deseado. El indicador
luminoso rojo parpadeará hasta que el
aparato alcance la temperatura seleccionada.
Luego, permanecerá encendido. Para apagar
el aparato, presione el botón de encendido/
apagado; el indicador luminoso se apagará.
Nunca descuide/deje el aparato sin vigilancia
después de encenderlo. Para su seguridad,
el aparato se apagará automáticamente
después de 60 minutos.

El revestimiento de doble cerámica de fácil

CÓMO ALISAR EL CABELLO
El cabello debe estar limpio y seco. Para
obtener resultados óptimos, aplique una
loción fijadora ligera en el cabello antes de
secarlo.
1. Divida el cabello en secciones de 1½ in
(4cm) de ancho por un máximo de ½ in
(1.5cm) grueso.
2. Coloque el aparato cerca del cuero
cabelludo. Abra las placas y coloque una
sección de cabello entre ellas. Cierre las
placas, apretando firmemente el mango.
3. Manteniendo la tensión, baje lentamente la
plancha hacia las puntas. Suelte el cabello al
llegar a las puntas.
4. Repita el proceso en cada sección, hasta
conseguir el estilo deseado. Dependiendo
de la textura del cabello, puede que sea
necesario repetir el proceso varias veces en
algunas secciones.
Nota: Será necesario experimentar un poco al
principio. Con práctica, encontrará la manera
perfecta para alisar y peinar su cabello fácil y
rápidamente.
CÓMO DAR VOLUMEN Y TEXTURA
Para doblar las puntas o crear ondas, agarre
las puntas del cabello entre las extremidades
de las placas y enrolle el cabello alrededor de
las placas cerradas. Es una manera fácil de
dar textura a cualquier peinado liso. Gire la
muñeca hacia arriba o abajo para doblar las
puntas hacia fuera/dentro, rizar o dar cuerpo.
