necessary changes made to technicaldata. Intheevent of technical problems or other

Safety
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the
appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal
operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children
aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the
appliance or perform user maintenance.
• CAUTION — Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns.
Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
• Thefan heater is intended for indoor useonly.
• Never let children or pets touch thefan heater while it is inuse. Theoutput air can
be very hot, over 80 °C (175 °F).
• Warning: Nevercover thefan heater. Ifcovered, there is arisk of overheating or evenfire.
• Thefan heater is only intended for normal domestic use and only in themanner
described in this instruction manual.
• Never use thefan heater if it is in any way damaged or malfunctioning. Donot use
thefan heater if themains lead or plug is damaged in anyway.
• Before connecting thefan heater to themains, make sure that it is turned off and
that your hands are completelydry.
• Do not use extension leads for this product. Connect it directly to amains outlet.
• Thefan heater should only be connected to a220–240 VAC, 50 Hz electrical outlet.
• Never leave your home while thefan heater is switchedon.
• Thefan heater must be placed at least 1m away from combustible materials such
as furniture, cushions, bedding, paper, clothes and curtains.
Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.

• Never immerse thefan heater inwater.
• Do not use thefan heater near bathtubs, showers orpools.
• Do not use thefan heater in rooms containing explosive gases, inflammable
solvents, varnish, glues,etc.
• Make sure that no foreign objects enter theair intake or outlet openings.
Blockages can lead to electric shock, fire or damage to thefan heater.
• Thefan heater should not be taken apart or modified. Certain uninsulated
components inside thehousing carry dangerous voltages. Contact with these can
lead to fire or electricshock.
• Always unplug thefan heater from thepower point when it is not inuse.
Alwaysgrip theplug when unplugging, never pull themainslead.
• Thefan heater must always be standing upright while inuse.
• Never use thefan heater for drying clothing. Nevercover its air inlets or outlets.
• Themains lead must be changed if damaged. Thisis to prevent therisk of electric
shock or fire and should only be carried out by themanufacturer, qualified service
facility or qualified technician.
• Thefan heater must not be placed directly below awall socket.
• Do not use thefan heater in aroom smaller than 4m².
