1 About the documentation
The instructions delivered with the kit are intended to guide you
through the installation of the joint kit. Damage caused by non-
observance of these instructions are not under the responsibility of
Daikin.
The original documentation is written in English. All other languages
are translations.
Read this installation manual prior to use and keep it for future
reference.

3 To install the joint kit
1 Open the sealings and remove the branches.
2 Install the branches to the BS unit and the field piping.
▪ Connect the branches to the BS unit and the field piping.

▪ Fill the pipes with nitrogen gas to avoid copper corrosion
during brazing.
▪ Braze the connections. Cool the copper tubes during brazing
with a wet rag.
3 Install the sealings.
▪ Remove the adhesive release paper from the sealing.
▪ Install the sealing around the correct branch. As the
diameter of the copper tubes differ for each branch, make
sure to use the correct sealing set for each branch.
▪ Push both sealing sides firmly together.
▪ Repeat for the other sealing.
4 Insulate the connections of both branch assemblies with the BS
unit and the field piping and seal off with insulation tape.

5 Apply the field settings for the BS unit. See the BS unit's
installation manual for more information.
