Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and then save
it for future reference. We reserve theright for any errors in text or images and any
necessary changes made to technical data. In theevent of technical problems or other

Safety
• Theproduct should not be taken apart or modified. Certain unshielded components
inside thecasing carry dangerous voltages. Contact with these can lead to fire or
electric shock.
• Do not cover theproduct. Adequate ventilation, with adistance of at least 5 cm
between ventilation ports and surrounding surfaces, is necessary to prevent
theproduct from overheating.
• Theproduct must only be connected to astandard domestic 230V, 50Hz
electrical supply.
• Make sure that thewall socket that is used is easily accessible, since this is
theonly way to completely disconnect theproduct from themains supply.
• Place theproduct on astable, flat surface.
• Do not place theproduct where there is arisk of it falling into water or other liquid.
Do not place any objects which contain liquid onto theproduct such as vases,
drinks, etc.
• Do not place theproduct near naked flames such as wood stoves or lit candles.
• Place theproduct in such away that there is no risk of people tripping over its mains lead.
• Theproduct is designed exclusively for normal domestic use.
• Theproduct is intended for indoor use only.
• Never subject theproduct to extremely high or low temperatures, dust, heavy vibration,
impacts, humidity or moisture.
• Do not abuse themains lead. Never unplug theproduct by pulling on its mains lead.
Always grip theplug itself. Make sure that themains lead does not come into contact
with heat, sharp edges or is crushed in any way.
• Unplug themains lead from thewall socket during thunderstorms or if theproduct
is not to be used for along time.
• Thestandby switch does not completely disconnect theproduct from themains.
In order for theproduct to be completely isolated from themains, its mains lead
must be unplugged from thewall socket.
• Protect your hearing. Listening on high volume for prolonged periods can lead to
permanent hearing loss.
• Never use theproduct if themains lead has been damaged in any way.
• This product should only be repaired by aqualified service technician.
