HARDWAREINSTALLATION

Because there are large differences between PCs, we can give you only a general installation ’

guide for the EX11247HMS. Please refer your computers reference manual whenever in -’

doubt.

1.--Install the EX11247HMS on a mounting rail by using the DINRail Kit or on the wall using

the Wall Mounting Brackets.

2.Connect the USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable with the USB 3.2 Gen 1 Upstream BPort at the EX--

11247HMS.

3.Now connect the power connector of the optional available power supply to the DCConnector -

or to the Terminal Block of the hub and insert the power plug of the power supply into an

electrical outlet.

4.--Now connect the other end from the USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable (APlug) to the USB APort at

your PC.

After the hardware installation the Operating System will recognize the EX11247HMS automati--

cally and install the drivers.

CHECK INSTALLED DRIVER

Open the >Device manager<. Now you should see at „USB-Controller“the following new entry:

Überspannungsschutz ausgestattetDer EX11247HMS unterstützt die Norm IP30. Im Lieferum-. -

fang ist ein DIN-Rail Kit für die Installation auf einer Tragschiene und Wandmontagehalterungen für

eine Montage an eine Wand enthalten. Das DINRail Kit wird mit vier Schrauben auf der Rückseite -

und die Wandmontagehalterungen werden mit jeweils vier Schrauben auf den Seiten festge-

schraubt.

Zum Betrieb des EX11247HMS muss ein optional erhältliches externes Netzteil angeschlossen -

werden!
