EC Au terme de son utilisation, le produit ne doit pas
être éliminé avec les déchets urbains. L’appareil doit
être remis à l’un des centres de tri sélectif agréés par
l’administration communale ou à un revendeur assurant
ce service. L’élimination différenciée des appareils électroniques
(WEEE) permet non seulement d’éviter les retombées négatives
pour l’environnement et la santé dues à une élimination incorrecte,
mais aussi de récupérer les matériaux qui le composent et permet
ainsi d’effectuer d’importantes économies en termes d’énergie et
de ressources. Pour rappeler l’obligation d’éliminer séparément les
appareils électroniques, le produit porte le symbole d’un caisson
à ordures barré.

the end of its working life. It must be taken to a special
waste collection centre licensed by the local authorities
or to a dealer providing this service. Separate disposal
of electric and/or electronic equipment (WEEE) will avoid possible
negative consequences for the environment and for health resulting
from inappropriate disposal, and will enable the constituent materials
to be recovered, with signif cant savings in energy and resources.
As a reminder of the need to dispose of this equipment separately,
the product is marked with a crossed-out wheeled dustbin.

Le trombe sono diffusori a due vie caratterizzati MSH15HF/EN
da un’alta eff cienza, un’estesa gamma di risposta ed una buona
tenuta in potenza. Il tipo di costruzione ed i materiali impiegati
ne permettono l’uso in applicazioni per esterno con massimo
grado di protezione . Il corpo dei diffusori è in polipropilene IP44
rinforzato e presenta un grado di autoestinguenza VØ UL94.
La particolare conformazione di questi diffusori determina una
copertura pressochè costante e controllata dello spettro audio
riprodotto con una eff cienza particolarmente elevata.
Grazie al traslatore incorporato, i diffusori possono essere
collegati a line e di distribuzione sonora a tensione costante di
100V, 70V, 50V; è inoltre disponibile una presa diretta a 16Ω per
impianti a bassa impedenza.
The MSH1
5HF/EN horns are two-way speaker units featuring
high eff ciency, an extensive response range and good power
resistance. The design and materials used enable it to be
employed for outdoor applications up to class of protection IP44
at the most.
The special shape of these speakers gives rise to practically
constant and controlled coverage of the audio spectrum
reproduced, with particularly high sensitivity.
Thanks to the built-in transformer, the speakers can be connected
to a 100V, 70V or 50V constant voltage sound distribution lines.
A direct 16Ω socket is also available for low-impedance systems.
INSTALLAZIONE ED USO
È consigliabile, per ovvi motivi di sicurezza, porre particolare cura
nel f ssaggio dei diffusori alla struttura portante (parete, soff tto,
palina, traversino, ecc.). Dato il peso consistente e la capacità
dei diffusori di generare pressioni acustiche elevate anche alle
frequenze più basse dello spettro, a differenza dei convenzionali
diffusori a tromba, il f ssaggio deve risultare particolarmente
robusto.
Per il collegamento elettrico a 16Ω si consiglia l’utilizzo di cavi
con sezione minima di 2 mm², f no ad un massimo di 100 metri.
Nel caso che il collegamento adotti una linea a tensione costante
a 100 V si possono impiegare cavi con sezione minima di 1,5 mm²
per 900 metri massimi di lunghezza. Si consiglia di non utilizzare
i f ltraggi passa-alto nella catena di amplif cazione, solitamente
adottati negli impianti che prevedono l’uso dei classici diffusori
a tromba, quali condensatori in serie alla linea o appositi circuiti
incorporati negli amplif catori (negli amplif catori FBT predisposti,
ad esempio, l’apposito interruttore o ponticello PA-HF deve
trovarsi in posizione HF).
Si raccomanda, nel caso che l’impianto preveda l’intervento di
un equalizzatore per la correzione dell’acustica ambientale, di
non eccedere nell’esaltazione delle frequenze al di sotto della
frequenza di taglio inferiore di questi diffusori (vedi sezione Dati
tecnici).
INSTALLATION AND USE
For obvious safety reasons, it is advisable to pay special attention
when securing the speakers to the structure used to support it
(wall, ceiling, stake, cross-member, etc.). In view of its considerable
weight and the capacity of the speaker to generate high acoustic
pressures even at the lowest frequencies of the spectrum, unlike
conventional horn speakers, it must be particularly securely
fastened in place.
For the 16Ω electrical connection, use of cables with a cross-
section of at least 2 sq. mm is recommended, up to a maximum
length of 100 metres. If the connection is made using a 100 V
constant voltage line, it is possible to use cables with a cross-
section of at least 1,5 sq. mm for a maximum length of 900 m.
It is advisable not to use high-pass f ltering in the amplif cation
chain, which is usually employed in systems calling for the use of
conventional horn speakers, such as capacitors in series with the
line or special circuits built into the amplif ers (for instance, in the
appropriate FBT amplif ers, the special switch or PA-HF jumper
must be in the HF position).
If the system envisages the action of an equaliser for correcting
the environmental acoustics, it is recommended that excess
emphasis of the frequencies below the lower cut-off frequency of
this speaker (see section on Technical data) be avoided.
I diffusori a tromba sono dotati di cavo resistente MSH15HF/EN
al fuoco (lunghezza 80cm); il sistema di f ssaggio UNI 9795 2010
rende agevole il montaggio e consente un ottimale orientamento
del diffusore. Questi diffusori sono stati appositamente sviluppati
per essere impiegati in sistemi d’emergenza e d’evacuazione: sono
infatti dotati di fusibile termico, che garantiscono la salvaguardia
della linea di collegamento altoparlanti nel caso in cui un possibile
incendio metta fuori uso uno o più diffusori ad essa collegati.
MSH15HF/EN horn-speakers are f tted with f reproof cable
according to (length 80 cm). The f xing system UNI 9795 2010
makes mounting easy and enables the speaker unit to be turned
in the best direction. These speaker units have been developed
specif cally for use in emergency and evacuation systems and
each has its own thermal fuse. These ensure the protection of the
line connecting the loudspeakers if a f re puts one or more of the
speaker units connected to it out of use.
