UK - Ferplast has created the first automatic hook

for dog leashes. It combines maximum safety

and easiness of use, making hooking/unhooking faster

and easier to the collar or harness by means of a magnetic

mechanism. Made of techno-plastic, it’s sturdy and light

at the same time. Available in 2 different sizes, its ensure

resistance to traction of up to 120 kg (264 lbs) for the Me-

dium model, and 180Kg (397 lbs) for the Large, thanks also

to the steel pins included. Its double-button opening sys-

tem makes it extremely safe, preventing it from unhooking

accidentally.

Directions:

1) Open the hook by pressing the two buttons at the

same time.

2) Move the hook close to the ring in the collar/ harness to

activate the automatic closure of the hook.

3) To unhook the collar/ harness, press the two buttons at

the same time again.

WARNINGS:

• Check the hook periodically to make sure all its parts are

intact. If damage of any kind is detected, replace the entire

product.

• Check the quality and solidity of the collar/ harness where

the hook is attached.

• Clean the hook periodically; if particularly dirty,

its automatic closure may be compromised.

Rinse it under running water and remove any remaining

dirt with a toothpick or a soft toothbrush. Dry immediately

with a soft cloth.

• As the hook is magnetic, it must be kept away from

electronic or magnetic devices, such as cell phones, cred-

it cards and any other magnetic cards, and, in particular,

medical devices.

• The hook only works automatically with iron-made rings.

If the ring is made of other materials, such as aluminium,

use the hook in manual mode.

• The hook works with round-section rings with a diameter

equal to or inferior to the maximum rated value. Do not

connect it to other kinds of rings.

• This product is intended for use with pets only. Not a child

toy.

• The model of leash, and therefore of its relative hook,

must be suitable for the size of the animal (always respect

the maximum allowed dog weight).

• Never leave your pet unattended when using the prod-

uct.

• Never attach more than one ring to the hook.
