6 feet in length.

Dryermustbesecurelyattachedtothewasher.
DONOTplacethewasherontopofthedryer.
Failure to do so could result in personal injury/death or

MINIMUMCLEARANCEOTHERTHANALCOVEOR
CLOSETINSTALLATION
Minimumclearancetocombustiblesurfacesandforair
opening are: 0”both sides, 1”front and 3” rear.Consideration
mustbegiventoprovideadequateclearanceforinstalla-
tion and service.
REQUIREMENTSFORALCOVEORCLOSET
INSTALLATION
• Yourdryerisapprovedforinstallationinanalcoveor
closet,asstatedonalabelonthedryerback.
• ThedryerMUSTbeventedtotheoutdoors.
SeetheEXHAUSTINGTHEDRYERsection.
• Minimumclearancebetweendryercabinetandadja-
cent walls or other surfaces is: 0”either side 3” front and
rear
• Minimumverticalspacefromoortooverhead
shelves, cabinets, ceilings, etc.,is52”.
• Closetdoorsmustbelouveredorotherwiseventi-
latedandhaveatleast60squareinchesofopenarea
equallydistributed.Iftheclosetcontainsbothawasher
and a dryer, doors must contain a minimum of 120
squareinchesofopenareaequallydistributed.

TOOLSYOUWILLNEED
INSTALLATIONPREPARATION
Removethepackaging.
Flatten the product carton to use as a pad to lay the dryer
down on its side. Continue using the carton to protect the
nishedoorinfrontoftheinstallationlocation.

INSTALLINGTHESTACKBRACKETKIT
LAYTHEDRYERONITSSIDE
A.Carefullylaythedryeronitsside.Usethe
packingmaterialsoyoudon’tscratchthenishon
the dryer.
INSTALLRUBBERPADS
A.Locatethe4rubberpadsinthepartspackage.
InsertrubberpadsintotheLEG.
B.Set the dryer upright.
INSTALLBRACKETTODRYER
A.Remove washer top cap screw from the rearleft.
Alignleftbracketholeswithtopcapscrewholeon
rear left of the unit and replace screw.
NOTE:Leave screw loose so dryer hole alignment
will be easier.
B.Repeat the above step with the right side.
INSTALLDRYERANDBRACKETONWASHER
A.Liftthedryerontopofthewasher.Protectthe
washer control panel with cardboard or other protec-
tion. Be sure to lift the dryer high enough to clear the
washer control panel.
WARNING–Potential
PersonalInjury.Morethantwopeoplearerecom-
mendedtoliftthedryerintopositionbecauseof
itsweightandsize.Failuretodosocouldresultin
personalinjuryordeath.
B.Aligntheholesinthebracketwiththeholesinthe
backofthedryer.UsingaPhillipsscrewdriver,attach
the 4x12mm tapping screws.
C.Tightenthewasherbracketscrews;thentighten
allstackingkitscrews.
FINALIZETHEINSTALLATION
A.RefertothewasherInstallationInstructions
to complete the washer installation.
B.RefertothedryerInstallationInstructionsto
complete the dryer installation.
C.Carefullyslideorwalkthestackedwasherand
dryerintoplace.Usefeltpadsorotherslidingdevice
toassistmovingandtoprotectooring.
WARNING–PotentialPersonal
Injury.Donotpushonthedryeronceinstalledto
topofthewasher.Pushingonthedryermayresult
inpinchedngers.
