The Genaray SSL-36 is a daylight-balance strip LED that provides
even illumination along its entire 36-inch length. In the studio, it’s
perfect for lighting full-length portraits, and it excels as a hair or
accent light for group shots. The bright 256-bulb LED array has an
integrated diffuser for a soft wraparound beam that eliminates the
multiple shadows of most LED lights. The SSL-36 is constructed with
full-length barndoors that can cut the beam to a very narrow strip,
which gives precise control over light and shadow on subjects or
backgrounds.
The SSL-36 runs on AC or battery power. It has a color temperature
of 5600 K and a 96 CRI rating, which delivers excellent color accuracy.
Its power output is controlled by a stepless dimmer knob that ranges
from 100% to 10% brightness. Passive cooling eliminates the need
for a fan, so there’s no fan noise that can disrupt a video shoot. A
lollipop mount is included for precise and easy positioning in
any orientation.
