Clock Radio with Dual Alarms

User’s Guide for Model C224 v1955-01

Power

Plug the power cord into a standard power outlet.

Battery Backup

The battery backup is intended for short power

outages only. The clock radio’s primary functions

cannot run o of the battery backup alone. Requires

2 AAA-size, batteries (not included).

Snooze

Press to snooze the alarm after it sounds.

With the radio ON, press repeatedly to set the sleep timer.

Tuning/Min/Hour

Press to adjust tuning for

the radio.

Press to set hours/minutes.

Preset/Clock

Press to cycle through preset

radio stations (RADIO ON).

Press and hold to set the

clock (RADIO OFF).

Volume/AL1/AL2

Press to adjust volume.

Press to set Alarm 1 or 2.

Radio/Power

Press to power ON.

Press and hold to power OFF.

Short press to switch

between AM and FM.

Alarm 1 Buzzer/

Alarm

Setting the Alarm

1. In o mode, press the buttons to set Alarm AL1 or AL2

1 or Alarm 2.

2. The screen will ash and display the time the alarm is

set to go o. Press the buttons to set Hour and Minute

the desired time. Note the PM indicator.

3. Press the buttons repeatedly to switch AL1 or AL2

between Radio, Buzzer or o. Wait for the display to

stop ashing.

4. Once the set alarm time is reached, the alarm will

sound. Press the button to turn the alarm o Power

until the set alarm time is reached again.

5. To set the other alarm, follow the above steps and

choose the alarm not currently set.

Snooze and Alarm Reset

After the alarm sounds:

• Press the Snooze button to delay the alarm for an

additional 9 minutes.

• Press the button to turn the alarm o until the Power

set alarm time is reached again.

Clock / Sleep Timer

Setting the Clock

1. Press and hold the Preset/Clock button until the

display begins ashing.

2. Press the buttons to adjust the Hour and Minute

time. The PM indicator will light when the hour is set

in the PM.

3. Press the Preset/Clock button again to nish, or wait

for the display to stop ashing.

Setting the Sleep Timer

1. Power the radio and press the button to adjust Snooze

the timer ( 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 min or OFF ).

2. Once the set sleep time has expired the clock radio will

automatically power o.

Saving a Station as a Preset

1. With the radio on, tune to your desired frequency,

press and hold the button until the Preset/Clock

screen ashes.

2. Press the Tuning ± buttons to choose the desired

preset station, 1 though 10.

3. Press the Preset/Clock button again to set the

frequency to that preset station.

4. The unit will store 10 FM and 10 AM radio station

presets. Once set, press the button to Preset/Clock

cycle through

your preset stations.

Radio

Radio Reception

To improve radio reception, adjust the position of the unit.

Tuning the AM or FM Radio

1. Power on the radio and press the button again Power

to switch between the radio mode.AM and FM

2. Press the Tuning ± buttons to nd the desired radio

frequency.

3. Press the Volume ± buttons to adjust the volume of

the radio.
