Description of the thermostat
The EK760 thermostat is designed to provide
comfort and energy savings, and is easily installed
on thermostatic radiator valves. It regulates the
ambient temperature and works in association with
a home automation controller, such as TKP100A
and/or with radio transmitters in the TRMxxx
range, allowing you to benefi t from the associated
functions of programming, check and visualization.
It allows the heating device to regulate according to
3 temperature levels:
• Comfort
: The desired temperature when you
are present within the room.
•
Night setpoint : The desired temperature during
short absences or at night.
• Frost Protection
: The minimum temperature
ensured during extended periods of absence. It
protects your house from the risk of frost.

Installation and replacement of batteries
Remove the cover of the battery box by pressing
the cover upwards at the marked location (1) and
picking it up (2).
Then, place the batteries in the direction indicated
at the base of the product.

Changing the batteries has no infl uence on the
confi guration of the product.

Never use new and old batteries together;
nor should batteries of different brands be
used together.
Do not use rechargeable batteries!
Respect the correct polarity!
Initial confi guration
Once the batteries are fi tted, you can select the
language used on the EK760 (English, French,
German, Italian). The default language used is
English, however you can change this selection by
pressing on the " + " / " - " keys briefl y, then confi rm
the selected language by pressing and holding on
the "OK" key.
Installation
After the batteries are inserted, the motor is com-
pletely pushed upwards in order to facilitate instal-
lation. The screen will display (INST may also INST
be selected from the menu, at all times). Ensure
installation only in this position. Do not press the
other keys, and the thermostat is ready to be fi tted.
Withdraw the head of the original thermostatic valve
(caution: only the thermostatic valves can be con-
trolled by the EK760 thermostat). The installation
process is to be carried out without contact with
dirt or water as the valve body remains in place.
The EK760 is fully compatible with existing
thermostatic valves using M30x1.5 threading
(Honeywell, Landis & Gyr, TA, Heimeier, etc.) using
the white coupling ring provided.
In case of Danfoss valves, it is necessary to use
an adapter provided in addition to the white ring
(please refer to the correspondence table below).

Before installing the adapters, fully remove the
protection pins marked in grey on the drawing.
If the model of the valve is different from those
listed above, you must use an optional adapter
listed below:
• EK771 for COMAP M28x1.5 valve
• EK772 for Oventrop M30x1.0 valve
• EK773 for Vaillant valve
• EK774 for Herz M28x1.5 valve
• EK775 for Giacomini valve
Press and hold on the "OK" key until INST
disappears so that EK760 can start its installation
process. The device adapts to the operating
range of the valve. In some cases, this procedure
may take several minutes. Once the adaptation is
completed, the EK760 goes back to the normal
operating mode.
• If a new adaptation is necessary (for example if
your radiator does not cool down while in
summer mode), select INSTALLATION from the
menu until adaptation starts.
• If error appears on the screen, fi t the ERR2
EK760 on the radiator valve and then briefl y
remove the batteries to reinitialize.
Removal
To remove EK760, set the device in INST position
(Please refer to the above chapter), wait for a brief
moment and then press on the release lock located
in the groove in the lower part with the fork tool
delivered to disconnect.
Subsequently, remove EK760 from the valve body.
Radio Link confi guration
The next step is to confi gure the radio link of EK760,
to do so there are 2 options:
1. Using a house automation controller such as
TKP100A, place TKP100A in product append
mode, and cfg will appear on the EK760 screen
and RF confi guration will be displayed
subsequently. Press and hold on "OK" to start
the link process. At the end of the process, it is
carried out correctly if the display indicates "OK",
on the other hand the operation must be
repeated if it indicates "NOK" (For more
information, see instructions for TKP100A).
2.
Using micromodules of type TRM69x or TRM702A,
place the micromodule in confi guration mode,
and cfg will appear on the EK760 display screen
subsequently. Press and
hold
on "OK" to start
the link process. You can select
the
desired function by navigating with the "+"
/ " - " key then confi rming the function selected
by pressing and holding on the "OK" key.
* Function not available with TRMxxx radio
transmitters.
While setting up the radio link, the display will fi rst
indicate " ". Then, it displays " " if the radio Link OK
link has been successfully established or " " NOK
if it has not been successfully established. In this
case, repeat the radio link confi guration process.
If you have selected the timer comfort function, you
can also set the timer in comfort mode (default is
set to 3 hrs.). Select the desired time with the "+" /
"-" keys, then confi rm the selection by pressing and
holding on the "OK" key.
You can exit the confi guration process at any time
by pressing and holding on the cancellation key.
For "Radio link elimination" and "reset ", see § 4.
Standard operation
In standard operation, the screen will be switched off
to conserve battery power (it is possible to change
this setting and leave the screen continuously on,
please refer to chapter "EK760 setting"). Pressing
on the "+" / "-" buttons briefl y will display the
measured temperature, and the 6th and 7th icons
(indicated at the "Overview of the Thermostat") will
indicate if the thermostat is in comfort
mode or
in
Night setpoint mode.
From this screen, several options are available:
1. Consultation of the existing setpoint
temperature
You can check the current temperature setpoint by
pressing on the "+" or "-" keys briefl y. The current
temperature setting (Comfort or
Night setpoint) will
fl ash and display for 10 sec, before the measured
temperature will be displayed again.
2. Ongoing setpoint temperature bypass
To temporarily change the current temperature
setpoint, press on the "+" or "-" key to increase
or reduce the temperature.
The setpoint temperature will blink, and automatically
validated after 10 sec or by pressing and holding
on the "OK" key. This bypass is valid until the
next mode adjustment (next step of the heating
schedule initiated by the house automation
controller TKP100A, for example).
The icon " ongoing temperature bypass indicator"
will be displayed on the screen to indicate that the
bypass is in progress.
To cancel this bypass: press and hold on the
"return" key, and the icon
"
ongoing temperature
bypass indicator" will disappear.
3. Product safety locking
To avoid unintentional activation, you can lock the
EK760. For this, press and hold the + /- keys at the
same time keys simultaneously until the "
" icon
appears on the screen. To deactivate the function,
repeat the process until the "
" icon disappears.
4. EK760 settings
To access the product settings, it is necessary to
press on the "+" and "–" keys to enter the menu,
then navigate in the menu by pressing on the "+"
and "-" buttons briefl y. To enter one of the settings,
press and hold on the "OK" key. To exit a setting or
the menu, press and hold on the "Return" key.
Different settings are accessible:
• "Mode" : Change of heating mode
There are 2 heating modes on the product (comfort
and economy). It is possible to change the heating
mode by selecting the " " setting. By pressing Mode
on the "+" button briefl y, you can select " " Conf
(for Comfort mode) or " " (for night setpoint Night
mode). The selection can be confi rmed by pressing
and holding on the "OK" key.
• "Priority" : Forcing of the thermostat heatin mode
The priority mode allows you to maintain a
constant temperature in your house in comfort or
economy mode, but does not take into account
some programming profi les (for example, profi les
available on the house automation controller
TKP100A). To select the "Priority" mode in the
menu, confi rm selection by pressing and holding
on the "OK" key and select the desired mode with
the "+" / "-" keys:
• Comf. : To enter comfort mode
• Night : To enter night setpoint mode
• DIS : to disable the priority mode
Confi rm your selection by pressing and holding on
the "OK" key.
• "Temperatures" : Adjustment of the temperature
setpoint for the different heating modes

The "Temperature" mode allows you to adjust the
temperature setpoint of the different heating modes
according to the range described in the table below.

Select the "Temperature" mode in the menu and
confi rm selection by pressing and holding on the
"OK" key:
• When the "Comfort" temperature setpoint blinks,
you can change it by pressing on the "+" / "-" keys
briefl y, then confi rm selection by pressing and
holding on the "OK" key.
• When the "Night" temperature setpoint blinks,
you can change it by pressing on the "+" / "-" keys
briefl y, then confi rm selection by pressing and
holding on the "OK" key.
• "Heating pause" : Stop heating
The "Heating pause" mode allows you to turn the
heater off (for example, during summer). This helps
to increase the battery lifespan.
In this mode, only the frost protection and the anti-
scaling functions (1x per week) remains active.
Select the "Heating pause" mode in the menu and
confi rm selection by pressing and holding the "OK"
key, then select "Yes" or "No" by pressing on the "
+ " and " - " keys briefl y to activate or deactivate the
function, then subsequently confi rm by pressing
and holding on the "OK" key.
In "Heating pause" mode, the "Mode" and "Priority"
modes will not be accessible.
O
EK760 ensures anti-scaling protection of your
valve through the complete opening/closing
of the valve per week.
• "Window" : Window opening detection
The EK760 has an integrated window opening
detection function. If a window opens leading
to a drastic fall in temperature, the EK760 will
automatically close the radiator valve to save
energy. The screen will display icon
" "
, and
subsequently resumes its normal operation.
To confi gure this function, select the "Window"
mode in the menu and confi rm selection by
pressing and holding on the "OK" key, then select
"Yes" or "No" with a brief press on the " + " and
" - " keys to activate or deactivate the function then
confi rm your selection by pressing and holding the
"OK" key.
Now, adjust the sensitivity of the device to
temperature changes. This can be selected with a
brief press on the " + " and " - " keys ("High"= high
sensitivity, "Medium" = medium sensitivity (default
setting), "Low"= low sensitivity), then confi rm by
pressing and holding on the "OK" key.
Now, select the time (ranging from 10 minutes to
60 minutes at an interval of 5 minutes) during which
the valve must remain in frost protection mode
by pressing on the "+" and "-" keys briefl y, then
confi rm your selection by pressing and holding on
the "OK" key.
It is also possible to exit the frost protection mode
due to an open window pressing and holding on
the "enter" key.
• "Temp Offset" : Temperature calibration
This setting adjusts the measured value by the
thermostat if you are measuring a different room
temperature.
To do so, select the "Temp Offset" mode in the menu
and confi rm selection by pressing and holding on
the "OK" key. You can change the temperature
within a limit of -5 to +5°C with a short press on
the "+" / "-" keys, then confi rm your selection by
pressing and holding on the "OK" key.
The temperature offset is canceled in "Heating
pause" mode (summer period)
• "LCD Standby" : Putting the screen in standby
Putting the screen in standby helps to increase
battery lifespan. This setting provides you with the
options of permanently activating the screen or to
put it on standby after 30 sec if no key is pressed.
To do so, select the "LCD Standby" mode in the
menu and confi rm by pressing and holding on
the "OK" key. With a brief press on the "+" / "-"
keys, you can select "Yes" to activate the screen
standby function (default confi guration) or "No"
to deactivate the function (the screen remains
permanently on), then confi rm your selection by
pressing and holding on the "OK" key.
• "Installation" : Installation mode
This function enables the EK760 to enter installation
mode.
For this, select the "Installation" mode in the menu
and confi rm by pressing and holding on the "OK"
key. Once the " " fl ashes on the screen, the INST
motor is pushed upwards and you can install the
EK760 on the thermostatic valve. Once installed,
you can exit the installation process by pressing
and holding on the “OK” key.
• "Del radio link" : Clearing of the radio links
This function allows you to clear the existing radio
links on the EK760.
To delete radio links, select the "Del radio link"
mode in the menu and confi rm selection by
pressing and holding on the "OK" key, and a
blinking "OK" message will be displayed. You can
confi rm the clearing by pressing and holding on the
"OK" key or cancel the operation by pressing and
holding on the "Return" key.
• "Reset" : restore factory settings
This parameter resets the parameters to the factory
settings and causes the elimination of the radio
links.
To do so, select the "Reset" mode in the menu
and confi rm selection by pressing and holding on
the "OK" key, and a blinking " " message OK ?
will be displayed. You can confi rm the clearing by
pressing and holding on the "OK" key, or cancel the
operation by pressing and holding on the "return"
key.
• "Language" : Language confi guration
This setting allows you to select the language
used on the EK760 (English, French, German, and
Italian).
To do so, select the " " mode in the menu Language
and confi rm selection by pressing and holding on
the "OK" key, change the language with a brief
press on the " + " / " - " keys then confi rm your
selection by pressing and holding on the "OK" key.
• "Software version" : Version of software installed
on the product
This setting allows you to know which software
version has been installed on your EK760.
To do so, select the "Software version" mode in
the menu and confi rm selection by pressing and
holding on the "OK" key, and the software version
will be displayed. You can exit this display by
pressing and holding on the "OK" or "Return" key.
What should I do if... ?
The "Low battery" symbol is displayed: please
change the batteries (4 batteries of type AA LR6
1.5V) immediately.
The application does not detect EK760 during
confi guration: It is possible that EK760 is out of
range of the house automation controller TKP100A.
Please bring the TKP100A closer to the EK760.
The screen does not light up when the "+" or "–"
keys are pressed: Ensure that the batteries are
correctly positioned. Use only batteries of type AA
LR6 1.5V (provided with the product). If the problem
persists, replace the batteries.
I pressed the "+" or "–" keys before installing the
EK760 on the valve: Remove and reinsert the
batteries, or select the "Installation" mode in the
menu and confi rm by pressing and holding on
the "OK" key. Once a blinking " " message is Inst
displayed, the motor is placed in high position, you
can install the EK760 on the thermostatic valve.
Once installed, you can exit the installation process
by pressing and holding on the "OK" key.
The screen displays the code (adaptation ERR1
impossible):
• The EK760 is not assembled correctly. Please
repeat the assembly steps.
• The adjustment screw could have fallen. In this
case, replace the adjustment screw and then
remove the batteries briefl y to reset the device.
The motor should be positioned completely at
the top to facilitate assembly. The screen indicates
"Inst" ("Inst" can also be selected in the menu).
The continuous threading turns and tightens the
new adjustment screw. Proceed with the assembly
of EK760 on the thermostatic valve again.
The screen displays one of the following codes
ERR2 (Piston stroke too short) or (Motor ERR3
movement impossible): Remove EK760 from the
valve and press on the piston of the thermostatic
valve body. Repeat the assembly steps.

Descrizione del termostato
Il termostato EK760 è concepito per garantire comfort
e risparmio energetico ed è facilmente installato su
termostatizzabili per caloriferi. Regola la temperatura
ambientale e lavora con un telecomando domestico
di automazione, come un TKP100A e/o con
trasmettitori radiofonici della gamma TRMxxx, che
consentiranno di usufruire delle funzioni associate di
programmazione, controllo e visualizzazione.
Consente di regolare l’impianto di riscaldamento
secondo 3 livelli di temperatura:
• Comfort
: la temperatura desiderata quando
si è presenti nella stanza.
• Ridotto
: la temperatura desiderata durante
assenze brevi o di notte.
• Protezione da gelo
: la temperatura minima
assicurata durante lunghi periodi di assenza.
Protegge la casa dal rischio di gelo.

Confi gurazione iniziale
Quando le batterie sono inserite, è possibile
selezionare la lingua utilizzata per l'EK760 (inglese,
francese, tedesco, italiano). La lingua predefi nita
utilizzata è l'inglese ma è possibile cambiare
questa selezione premendo brevemente i tasti "+" /
"-" e poi confermare la lingua selezionata tenendo
premuto il tasto "OK".
Installazione
Dopo l'inserimento delle batterie, il motore viene
completamente spinto in avanti per facilitare
l'installazione. Lo schermo visualizza (INST INST
può anche essere selezionato dal menu, in qualsiasi
momento). Assicuratevi che il prodotto sia in
modalità installazione ed evitate di premere gli altri
tasti: il termostato è pronto per essere installato.
Togliete la testa della valvola termostatizzabile
originale (attenzione: solo le valvole termostatizzabili
dotate di pistoncino assiale possono essere controllate
dal termostato EK760). L’installazione deve essere
eseguita evitando contatti con sporco o acqua fi no a
quando il termostato non è stato posizionato.
L'EK760 è completamente compatibile con le
valvole termostatizzabili esistenti che usano
fi lettatura M30x1,5 (Honeywell, Landis &
Gyr, TA, Heimeier, ecc.) utilizzando l'anello di
accoppiamento bianco.
Nel caso delle valvole Danfoss è necessario inserire
l’adattatore apposito in dotazione in aggiunta
all'anello bianco (v. tabella delle corrispondenze qui
sotto).

Prima di installare gli adattatori, rimuovete
completamente i perni di protezione contrassegnati
in grigio sul disegno
Se il modello della valvola è diverso da quelli
elencati sopra, è necessario utilizzare un adattatore
selezionabile fra quelli disponibili nell’elenco
seguente:
• EK771 per valvola COMAP M28x1,5
• EK772 per valvola Oventrop M30x1,0
• EK773 per valvola Vaillant
• EK774 per valvola Herz M28x1,5
• EK775 per valvola Giacomini
Tenete premuto il tasto "OK" fi nché INST scompare
in modo che l’EK760 possa avviare il processo
di installazione. Il dispositivo si sincronizza con
l'intervallo di funzionamento della valvola. In alcuni
casi questa procedura potrebbe durare alcuni
minuti. Quando la sincronizzazione è completata,
l'EK760 si posiziona in modalità di funzionamento
normale.
• Se è necessaria una nuova sincronizzazione (per
esempio se il calorifero non si raffredda durante
la modalità estiva), selezionare "Installazione"
dal menu fi no all'avvio del processo di
sincronizzazione.
• Se compare l'errore sullo schermo, ERR2
montate l'EK760 sulla valvola del calorifero e poi
rimuovere brevemente le batterie per riavviare.
Rimozione
Per rimuovere l'EK760, impostate il dispositivo
in posizione INST (v. par. precedente), attendete
brevemente e poi premere sul blocco di rilascio
che si trova nella scanalatura nella parte inferiore
con l'attrezzo a forcella in dotazione per scollegare.
Poi, rimuovete l'EK760 dal corpo della valvola.
Confi gurazione collegamento radio
Il prossimo passo è confi gurare il collegamento
radio tra l’EK760 ed i dispositivi attuatori. Per farlo ci
sono 2 procedure possibili:
1. Utilizzando un dispositivo di controllo per
l'automazione domestica come TKP100A. Mettere
TKP100A in modalità di inserimento prodotto.
Sullo schermo dell'EK760 compare l’indicazione
cfg e poi "Confi gurazione RF". Tenere premuto
"OK" per avviare il processo di collegamento. Alla
fi ne del processo, se è stato eseguito in modo
corretto, il display visualizza l’indicazione " "; OK
se, invece, l'operazione non è andata a buon
fi ne e deve essere ripetuta, il display mostra
la scritta " " (Per maggiori informazioni, NOK
vedere le istruzioni relative a TKP100A).
2. Utilizzando micromoduli del tipo TRM69x o
TRM702A. Mettere il micromodulo in modalità
di confi gurazione premendo il tasto cfg. Sullo
schermo dell'EK760 compare l’indicazione cfg e
poi "Confi gurazione RF". Tenere premuto "OK" per
avviare il processo di collegamento. Selezionare la
funzione desiderata scorrendo le funzioni possibili
tramite i tasti "+" / "-" e poi confermare la funzione
selezionata tenendo premuto il tasto "OK".
* Funzione non disponibile con i trasmettitori radio
TRMxxx.
Mentre si imposta il collegamento radio, il display
indica per prima cosa " ". Poi Collegamento
visualizza " " se il collegamento radio è stato OK
stabilito con successo o " " se non è stato NOK
stabilito con successo. In questo caso ripetere il
processo di confi gurazione del collegamento radio.
Se è stata selezionata la modalità Comfort per il
timer, è anche possibile impostare il timer in modalità
comfort (il valore predefi nito è 3 ore). Selezionare il
tempo desiderato con i tasti "+" / "-" e poi confermare
la selezione tenendo premuto il tasto "OK".
Si può uscire dal processo di confi gurazione in qualsiasi
momento tenendo premuto il tasto di annullamento.
Per "Eliminazione collegamento radio" e "Reimpo-
stazione", vedere § 4.
Funzionamento standard
In funzionamento standard lo schermo si spegne
per risparmiare batteria (è possibile cambiare questa
impostazione e lasciare lo schermo acceso in modo
continuo, vedere il capitolo "Impostazione EK760").
Premere brevemente i tasti "+" / "-" per visualizzare la
temperatura misurata e la 6 e la 7 icona (indicate nella
"Panoramica del termostato") indicano se il termostato
è in modalità Comfort
o Ridotto .
Da questa schermata sono disponibili diverse
opzioni:
1. Consultazione della temperatura nominale
esistente
Si può verifi care la temperatura nominale
corrente premendo brevemente i tasti " + " o " - ".
L'impostazione corrente di temperatura (Comfort
o Economy) lampeggia e si visualizza per 10 sec.,
prima che la temperatura misurata venga visualizzata
di nuovo.
2. Bypass continuo della temperatura
nominale
Per modifi care in modo provvisorio la temperatura
nominale corrente, premere il tasto "+" o "-" per
aumentare o ridurre la temperatura.
La temperatura nominale lampeggia e viene
convalidata automaticamente dopo 10 sec o
tenendo premuto il tasto "OK". Questo bypass
è valido fi no alla successiva regolazione della
modalità (fase successiva della programmazione
del riscaldamento avviata dal dispositivo di
controllo per l'automazione domestica TKP100A,
per esempio).
L'icona
"
Indicatore bypass temperatura
continua" sarà visualizzata sullo schermo ad
indicare che il bypass è in corso.
Per annullare questo bypass: tenere premuto il
tasto "Indietro" e l'icona
"
Indicatore bypass
temperatura continua" scompare.
3. Blocco di sicurezza del prodotto
Per evitare un'attivazione non intenzionale,
si può bloccare l'EK760. Per farlo, premere
contemporaneamente i tasti "+" e "-" fi nché l'icona
"
" compare sullo schermo. Per disattivare la
funzione, ripetere il processo fi nché l'icona "
"
scompare.
4. Impostazioni EK760
Per accedere alle impostazioni del prodotto, è
necessario premere i tasti "+" e "–" per entrare
nel menu, poi navigare nel menu premendo sui
tasti "+" e "-" brevemente. Per entrare in una delle
impostazioni, tenere premuto il tasto "OK". Per
uscire da un'impostazione o da un menu, tenere
premuto il tasto "Indietro".
Sono disponibili opzioni diverse:
• "Modalità": Modifi ca della modalità di riscaldamento
Ci sono 2 modalità di riscaldamento per
l'apparecchio (Comfort ed Economy). È possibile
cambiare la modalità di riscaldamento selezionando
l'impostazione " ".Modalità
Premendo brevemente il tasto "+", si può
selezionare " " (per modalità Comfort) o Conf
" " (per modalità Ridotto). La selezione può Ridotto
essere confermata tenendo premuto il tasto "OK".
• "
Forzato": Forzatura della modalità di
riscaldamento del termostato
La modalità di forzatura consente di mantenere
una temperatura costante in casa con la modalità
Comfort o Economy, ma non tiene conto di
alcuni profi li di programmazione (per esempio, i
profi li disponibili sul dispositivo di controllo per
l'automazione domestica TKP100A).
Per selezionare la modalità "
Forzato" dal menu,
confermare la selezione tenendo premuto il tasto
"OK" e selezionare la modalità desiderata con i
tasti "+" / "-":
• Comf: Per entrare nella modalità Comfort
• Ridotto: Per entrare nella modalità Economy
• Stop: Per arrestare la modalità di forzatura
Confermare la selezione tenendo premuto il tasto
"OK".
• "Temperature": Regolazione della temperatura
nominale per le diverse modalità di riscaldamento.
La modalità "temperatura" consente di regolare
la temperatura nominale delle diverse modalità di
riscaldamento secondo l'intervallo descritto nella
tabella sotto.

Selezionare la modalità "Temperatura" nel menu e
confermare la selezione tenendo premuto il tasto
"OK":
• Quando il valore di temperatura nominale
"Comfort" lampeggia, è possibile cambiarlo
premendo brevemente i tasti "+" / "-" e poi
confermare la selezione tenendo premuto il tasto
"OK".
• Quando il valore di temperatura nominale
"Ridotto" lampeggia, è possibile cambiarlo
premendo brevemente i tasti "+" / "-" e poi
confermare la selezione tenendo premuto il tasto
"OK".
• "Pausa riscaldam": Arresto del riscaldamento
La modalità "Pausa riscaldam" consente di
disattivare il riscaldatore (per esempio, in estate).
Questo aiuta a prolungare la durata della batteria.
In questa modalità solo le funzioni di protezione da
gelo e anti-calcare (1x a settimana) restano attive.
Selezionare la modalità "Pausa riscaldam" dal
menu e confermare la selezione tenendo premuto il
tasto "OK", poi selezionare "Sí" o "No" premendo i
tasti "+" e "-" brevemente per attivare o disattivare
la funzione, poi in seguito confermare tenendo
premuto il tasto "OK".
In modalità "Pausa riscaldam", non sarà possibile
accedere alle modalità "Modaità" e "Forzato".
O
EK760 assicura la protezione anti-calcare della
valvola mediata apertura / chiusura complete
della valvola ogni settimana.
• "Finestra": Rilevamento apertura fi nestra
L'EK760 ha una funzione integrata di rilevazione
di apertura della fi nestra. Se una fi nestra si apre
provocando un drastico abbassamento della
temperatura, l'EK760 chiude automaticamente la
valvola del radiatore per risparmiare energia. Lo
schermo visualizza l'icona "
" e successivamente,
dopo che la fi nestra è stata chiusa, riprende il
funzionamento normale.
Per confi gurare questa funzione, selezionare la
modalità "Finestra" dal menu e confermate la
selezione tenendo premuto il tasto "OK", poi
selezionate "Sí" o "No" premendo i tasti "+" e "-"
brevemente per attivare o disattivare la funzione, poi
in seguito confermate tenendo premuto il tasto "OK".
Poi regolate la sensibilità del dispositivo ai
cambiamenti di temperatura. Può essere selezionata
con una breve pressione dei tasti "+" e "-" (Alta
= sensibilità alta, Media = sensibilità media
(impostazione predefi nita), Bassa = sensibilità bassa),
poi confermate tenendo premuto il tasto "OK".
Infi ne, selezionate il tempo (in un intervallo da 10
minuti a 60 minuti a passi di 5 minuti) durante il
quale la valvola deve restare in modalità di protezione
dal gelo premendo brevemente i tasti "+" e "-", poi
confermate la selezione tenendo premuto il tasto
"OK".
È anche possibile uscire dalla modalità di protezione
dal gelo per una fi nestra aperta tenendo premuto il
tasto "Invio".
•
"Offset temp": Calibrazione della temperatura
Questa impostazione regola il valore misurato
dal termostato se si sta misurando una diversa
temperatura ambiente.
Per farlo, selezionate la modalità "Offset temp"
nel menu e confermate la selezione tenendo
premuto il tasto "OK". È possibile cambiare la
temperatura entro un limite da -5 a +5°C con una
breve pressione dei tasti "+" / "-", poi confermate la
selezione tenendo premuto il tasto "OK".
La calibrazione della temperatura viene annullata in
modalità «Pausa riscaldam » (periodo estivo).
• "LCD standby": Mette lo schermo in standby
Mettere lo schermo in standby aiuta a prolungare la
durata della batteria. Questa impostazione fornisce
le opzioni per attivare in modo permanente lo
schermo o per metterlo in standby dopo 30 sec. se
non viene premuto alcun tasto.
Per farlo, selezionare la modalità "
LCD standby
"
nel menu e confermate tenendo premuto il tasto
"OK". Con una breve pressione dei tasti "+" / "-", è
possibile selezionare "Sí" per attivare la funzione di
standby dello schermo (confi gurazione predefi nita)
o "No" per disattivare la funzione (lo schermo
resta acceso in modo continuo), poi confermate la
selezione tenendo premuto il tasto "OK".
• "Installazione": Modalità di installazione
Questa funzione consente all'EK760 di entrare nella
modalità di installazione.
Per entrare in modalità installazione, selezionate
"Installazione" nel menu e confermate tenendo
premuto il tasto "OK". Quando " " lampeggia INST
sullo schermo, il motore viene spinto in avanti e si
può installare l'EK760 sulla valvola termostatica.
Dopo l'installazione si può uscire dal processo di
installazione tenendo premuto il tasto "OK".
• "Suppr radio link": Cancellazione dei collegamenti
radio
Questo parametro reimposta i parametri delle
impostazioni di fabbrica e provoca l’eliminazione
dei collegamenti radio.
Per cancellare i collegamenti radio, selezionate la
modalità "Suppr radio link" nel menu e confermate
la selezione tenendo premuto il tasto "OK" viene
visualizzato un " " lampeggiante. PerOK?
confermare la cancellazione tenete premuto
il tasto "OK" oppure annullate l'operazione tenendo
premuto il tasto "Indietro".
• "Reset": Ripristino delle impostazioni di
fabbrica
Questa impostazione consente di riportare il
dispositivo alle impostazioni di fabbrica.
Per farlo, selezionate la modalità "Reset" nel menu
e confermate la selezione tenendo premuto il tasto
"OK" viene visualizzato un "OK?" lampeggiante.
Per confermare la cancellazione tenete premuto il
tasto "OK" oppure annullate l'operazione tenendo
premuto il tasto "Indietro"..
• "Lingua": Confi gurazione della lingua
Questa impostazione consente di selezionare
la lingua utilizzata sull'EK760 (inglese, francese,
tedesco e italiano).
Per cambiare lingua, selezionate la modalità
" " nel menu e confermate la selezione Lingua
tenendo premuto il tasto "OK"; cambiate la lingua
con una breve pressione dei tasti "+" / "-" e poi
confermate la selezione tenendo premuto il tasto
"OK".
• "Versione software": Versione del software
installato sul prodotto
Questa impostazione consente di conoscere quale
versione software è installata sull'EK760.
Per verifi care la versione, selezionate la modalità
"Versione software" nel menu e confermate la
selezione tenendo premuto il tasto "OK"; sarà
visualizzata la versione del software. Si può uscire
da questa schermata tenendo premuto il tasto
"OK" o "Indietro".
Cosa fare se... ?
Se viene visualizzato il simbolo "batteria bassa":
sostituite immediatamente le batterie (4 batterie
tipo AA LR6 da 1.5 V).
L'applicazione non rileva l'EK760 durante la
confi gurazione: è possibile che l'EK760 sia fuori
portata radio del dispositivo di controllo per
l'automazione domestica TKP100A.
Portate il TKP100A più vicino all'EK760.
Lo schermo non si accende quando si premono
i tasti "+" o "–": assicuratevi che le batterie siano
posizionate in modo corretto. Usate solo batterie del
tipo AA LR6 1.5 V (in dotazione con il prodotto). Se il
problema persiste, sostituite le batterie. Ho premuto i
tasti "+" o " –" prima di installare l'EK760 sulla valvola:
Rimuovete e reinserite le batterie o selezionate la
modalità "Installazione" nel menu e confermate
tenendo premuto il tasto "OK". Quando si visualizza
il messaggio " " lampeggiante e il motore è INST
posto in posizione alta, è possibile installare l'EK760
sulla valvola termostatica.
Dopo l'installazione si
può uscire dal processo di installazione tenendo
premuto il tasto "OK".
Lo schermo visualizza il codice (adattamento ERR1
impossibile):
• L'EK760 non è montato correttamente. Ripetete le
fasi di installazione.
• La vite di regolazione potrebbe essere caduta. In
questo caso sostituite la vite di regolazione e poi
togliete brevemente le batterie per reimpostare
il dispositivo. Il motore deve essere posizionato
completamente sulla parte alta per facilitare il
montaggio. Lo schermo indica INST (INST può
anche essere selezionato nel menu). La fi lettatura
continua ruota e stringe la nuova vite di regolazione.
Continuate montando nuovamente l'EK760 sulla
valvola termostatica.
Lo schermo visualizza uno dei codici seguenti
ERR2 ERR3 (corsa del pistone troppo corta) o
(movimento motore impossibile): togliete l'EK760
alla valvola e premete sul pistone del corpo della
valvola termostatica. Ripetete le fasi del montaggio.
Correctto smaltimento del prodotto
(rifi uti elettrici ed elettronici).
Applicabile in i paesi dell'Unione Europea e
in quelli con sistema di raccolta differenziata.
Il marchio riportato sul prodotto o sulla sua
documentazione indica che il prodotto non
deve essere smaltito con altri rifi uti domestici al termine
del ciclo di vita. Per evitare eventuali danni all'ambiente
o alla salute causati dall'inopportuno smaltimento del
rifi uti, si invita l'utente a separare questo prodotto da
altri tipi di rifi uti e di riciclarlo in maniera responsabile
per favorire il riutilizzo sostenibile delle risorse materiali.
Gli utenti domestici sono invitati a contattare il
rivenditore presso il quale è stato acquistato il prodotto
o l'uffi cio locale preposto per tutte le informazioni
relative alla raccolta differenziata e al riciclaggio per
questo tipo di prodotto.
Gli utenti aziendali sono invitati a contattare il proprio
fornitore e verifi care i termini e le condizioni del contratto
di acquisto. Questo prodotto non deve essere smaltito
unitamente ad altri rifi uti commerciali.
