NITE-EYE 2000

OVERVIEW

• The Hawke Nite-Eye 2000 digital camera can be used for observation and photo/video capture in

complete darkness or low light conditions.

• View up to 200 meters in complete darkness using digital night vision technology.

• A built-in infrared illuminator provides additional light when in darker conditions. The infrared

strength can be adjusted to suit your situation.

• Quick and easy transfer of photos/videos and battery recharge via USB.

• Rechargeable 18650 lithium battery for extended performance and runtime.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

Unscrew the battery cover located underneath the front lens. Insert a 18650 battery, negative end

rst, then screw the battery cover back in place.

Notes:

• Only use 3.7V 18650 rechargeable batteries.

• Ensure the battery has sufcient charge.

• Ensure battery has been inserted negative end rst.

• Ensure the battery is charged before rst use to increase life expectancy.

RECHARGING

The Nite-Eye 2000 is powered by a 18650 lithium battery. The battery can either be recharged in

the Nite-Eye 2000 unit, or separately if using a battery charger (not supplied).

• To charge the battery while installed in the camera, connect the power adaptor to the USB cable

and insert this into the mini-USB socket on the Nite-Eye 2000, located on the underside of the

unit, beneath the rubber ap.

• The LED charging indicator next to the mini-USB socket will glow red while the battery is

charging and turn off when it is fully charged.

• When recharging from mains power supply the Nite-Eye 2000 will automatically power on. If not

needed, the camera can be powered off by pressing and holding the “ON/OK” button for 3 seconds.

• The Nite-Eye 2000 can also be charged by connecting directly to a computer via USB. In this

mode data transfer will also be available.

MEMORY CARD INSTALLATION

• The Nite-Eye 2000 accepts micro SD memory cards only.

• Memory card capacity between 2GB-32GB only.

• Install the micro SD memory card into the memory card socket located on the underside of the

unit, beneath the rubber ap.

• Install micro SD memory card with exposed contacts rst and facing outwards.
