WHEN USING ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS, ESPECIALLY WHEN
CHILDREN ARE PRESENT, BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD
ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:
• WARNING: Do not place speakers too close to ears. May cause damage to ear
drums, especially in young children.
• Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not
use attachments not recommended by HMDX AUDIO.
• HMDX AUDIO is not liable for any damage caused to iPod/MP3 player or any
other device.
• Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a bath or sink. Do
not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock or injury to persons:
• Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by or near children,
invalids or disabled persons.
• Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.
• Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord, plug, cable or housing. If it
is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, return it to Homedics
Service Centre for examination and repair.
• Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
• Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
• Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is
being administered.
• Only set on dry surfaces. Do not place on surface wet from water or
cleaning solvents.
SAFETY CAUTIONS :
• Never cover the appliance when it is in operation.
• This unit should not be used by children without adult supervision.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE :
Battery instalation
• Unzip the unit to locate the battery
compartment.
• Remove the battery cover and
insert two “AA” alkaline batteries
using the correct polarity direction
indicated on the bottom of
the compartment.
• Replace battery cover.
Operating instructions
• Unzip the unit.
• Plug the Audio Input Jack into the
headphone input of an iPod/MP3
player or other audio device.
• Slide the Power Switch to the
ON position. The red LED Power
Indicator will illuminate.
• When the audio device is in play
mode, the music will sound from the unit’s speakers. Adjust the volume on the
audio device as needed.
• Carefully place small audio device such as iPod/MP3 player in
storage pocket.
• Close the unit and zipper shut.
• When finished, slide the Power Switch to the OFF Position on the unit.

CONSEILLÉ DE TOUJOURS PRENDRE DES PRÉCAUTIONS DE
BASE, NOTAMMENT DE SUIVRE LA PROCÉDURE SUIVANTE:
• ATTENTION : Ne pas placer les haut-parleurs trop près des oreilles. Cela peut
endommager le tympan, particulièrement chez les jeunes enfants.
• Utiliser cet appareil selon le mode d’emploi inclus et spécifique à celui-ci. Ne pas
utiliser d’accessoires non recommandés par HMDX AUDIO.
• HMDX AUDIO n’est pas responsable des dommages causés au lecteur iPod/MP3
ou à tout autre appareil.
• Ne pas poser ou ranger l’appareil dans un endroit où il pourrait tomber ou
basculer dans une baignoire ou un évier. Ne pas placer ni laisser tomber dans
l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide.
ATTENTION
Pour limiter le risque de brûlures, feu, choc électrique ou blessures corporelles:
• Une étroite surveillance est nécessaire lorsque cet appareil est utilisé par ou à
proximité d’enfants, de personnes invalides ou handicapées.
• Utiliser cet appareil selon le mode d’emploi inclus et spécifique à celui-ci.
• Ne jamais brancher cet appareil en cas de cordon, prise, câblage ou boîtier
endommagé. En cas de fonctionnement incorrect, de chute ou
d’endommagement, le retourner au Centre de Service HoMedics pour contrôle
et réparation.
• Maintenir le cordon à l’écart des surfaces chauffées.
• Ne jamais faire tomber ou insérer tout objet dans l’une ou l’autre des ouvertures.
• Ne pas faire fonctionner dans des endroits où des produits aérosols
(vaporisateurs) sont utilisés ou de l’oxygène est administré.
• A installer uniquement sur une surface sèche. Ne pas poser sur une surface
humidifiée à l’eau ou à l’aide d’un solvent.
PRÉCAUTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ :
• Ne jamais couvrir l’appareil lorsqu’il est en marche.
• Cet appareil ne doit pas être utilisé par des enfants sans la surveillance d’unadulte.
MODE D’EMPLOI :
Installation des piles
• Ouvrir l’appareil pour accéder au
compartiment batterie.
• Retirer le couvercle du
compartiment et insérer deux piles
alcaline « AA » en positionnant
correctement les polarités dans le
sens indiqué à l’intérieur du
compartiment.
• Remettre le couvercle en place.
Mode d’emploi
• Ouvrir l’appareil.
• Brancher la prise Audio dans
l’entrée écouteur d’un lecteur
iPod/MP3 ou d’un autre
appareil audio.
• Mettre le bouton Marche/Arrêt en
position ON. Le voyant LED rouge
de mise sous tension s’allume.
• Lorsque l’appareil audio est en mode lecture, le son est diffusé par les haut-
parleurs de l’appareil. Régler le volume du son sur l’appareil audio si nécessaire.
• Ranger soigneusement les petits appareils audio tels qu’un lecteur iPod/MP3 dans
une pochette de rangement.
• Fermer l’appareil et rabattre complètement la housse.
• Lorsque vous avez terminé, mettre le bouton Marche/Arrêt de l’appareil en
position OFF.
