Forget Remote
In the event you want to disconnect the remote from the
control head, use the following instructions:
APEX/SOLIX/XPLORE Series
1. Press the HOME key.
2. Select Settings > Sonar > TargetLock.
3. Select Forget TargetLock Remote. Tap, or press the
ENTER key, to select.
HELIX Series
1. Main Menu: Press the MENU key twice.
2. Select the Accessories tab > MEGA Live > MEGA Live
Installation.
3. Select Forget TL Remote, and press the RIGHT Cursor
key.

Installation du support de la télécommande (optional)
Montez le support de la télécommande à votre bateau est

Installing the Remote Bracket (optional)
Mounting the Remote Bracket to your boat is an
optional installation, and placement of the Remote
Bracket is based on personal preference. Humminbird
recommends mounting the Remote Bracket to a
flat surface where it can be easily accessed but not
accidentally pressed. Use the following instructions to
mount the bracket:
1. Check the chosen mounting location for fit and
function of the bracket. Clean and thoroughly dry
the mounting surface.
2. Remove the backing from one side of the included
foam tape. With the exposed adhesive side of the
tape facing the bracket, center the tape against the
bracket. Press and hold it in place for 30 seconds.
3. Remove the backing from the outside of the foam
tape. Place the bracket against the mounting
location. Firmly press and hold it for 30 seconds.

Key Functions Overview
ARROW keys: Use the LEFT and RIGHT
ARROW keys to steer your MEGA Live
TargetLock and to pair your remote to your
Humminbird control head.
Press the LEFT or RIGHT ARROW key to steer
your MEGA Live. Press and hold both ARROW
keys simultaneously while your control head
is in pairing mode to pair your remote.
TARGETLOCK key: Use the TARGETLOCK key
to fix the MEGA Live beam in the direction of
fish or structure.
Press the TARGETLOCK key once to fix the
beam. Press it again to release the beam.
ONE-BOAT NETWORK key: The ONE-BOAT
NETWORK key is customizable. You can
program it to mark waypoints, to start and
stop pinging from your MEGA Live, and more.

Pairing the Remote to the Control Head
Use the following instructions to pair the MEGA Live
TargetLock remote to your Humminbird control head.
APEX/SOLIX/XPLORE Series
1. Press the HOME key.
2. Select Settings > Sonar > TargetLock > Pair TargetLock
Remote.
3. On your remote, press and hold the LEFT and RIGHT
ARROW keys at the same time until the LEDs at the bottom
of the remote begin to scroll. Then release the buttons.
4. The control head and the remote will go into Pairing Mode.
If 30 seconds pass while in Pairing Mode and they do
not successfully pair, an error message will display on
your control head signaling that the pairing has timed
out. Repeat the procedure.
NOTE
After pairing completes, if the lights on the remote blink
in a scrolling pattern, this indicates that the control head
is updating the remote. When the software update is
complete, the pairing process will need to be repeated.
