このたびは、本製品をお買い上げいただきまして、ま
ことにありがとうございます。
ご使用の前に、この取扱説明書をよくお読みいただき、
大切に保管してください。

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS carefully and
completely before using this product.
Icom is not responsible for the destruction, damage to, or
performance of any Icom or non-Icom equipment, if the
malfunction is because of:
• Force majeure, including, but not limited to, res,
earthquakes, storms, oods, lightning, other natural
disasters, disturbances, riots, war, or radioactive
contamination.
• The use of Icom microphone with any equipment that is
not manufactured or approved by Icom.
R WARNING! NEVER place the product where it may
interfere with vehicle normal operation or it could cause
bodily injury.
CAUTION: DO NOT immerse the connectors in water. If
the connector becomes wet, dry before attaching it to the
transceiver.
CAUTION: DO NOT expose the product to rain, snow or
any liquids. The product may be damaged.
CAUTION: DO NOT drop the product or subject it to strong
impact. Otherwise the product may be damaged.
CAUTION: DO NOT stretch the cables of the product or
place any heavy object on the product. The product may be
damaged.
CAUTION: Turn OFF the transceiver before attaching
or detaching the microphone. Otherwise a malfunction
may occur, or may damage the transceiver and/or the
microphone.
NEVER place the product in an insecure place to avoid
inadvertent use by unauthorized persons.
NOTE: DO NOT use or place the product in areas with
temperatures below –30°C or above +60°C (–22°F to
+140°F) or in areas subject to direct sunlight, such as the
dashboard.
BE SURE to securely install the product to prevent an
accidental dropping.
NOTE: The RJ45 connector of the HM-249 does not
support waterproof or dust-tight protection. While the
HM-249 is connected to the transceiver, the transceiver
cannot keep its waterproof and dust-tight protection.

調整が必要な場合は、PTTボタン
裏面にある出力調整を、プラスドラ
イバーで回して調整してください 。
Output volume control
Rotate the output volume control on the back of the PTT
button with a Phillips screwdriver to adjust the output
volume from the microphone, if necessary.

接続方法
1.無線機のマイクジャックにPTTボタンを接続します。
2.マイクロホンとリモートPTTボタンのプラグをPTTボタンに接続しま
す。プラグ（φ3.5mm）は、PTTボタンの左右どちらのジャックにで
も接続できます。
※ケーブル長さ：PTTボタン、マイクロホン、リモートPTTボタンとも
約2.5m
※別売品の延長ケーブル（OPC-2500φ3.5mm）を使用すると、マイ
クロホンやリモートPTTボタンのケーブルを約2ｍ延長できます。

Connecting the cables
1. Connect the PTT button cable to the transceiver’s
microphone connector.
2. Connect the microphone and the remote PTT button
to the jacks on the PTT button. You can connect either
LEach cable length of the PTT button, microphone, and the remote
PTT button is approximately 2.5 m, 8.2 feet.
LYou can extend the cable length of the microphone or the remote
PTT button using the optional OPC-2500
Installation
LClean the installation location of any debris, dirt, and so on before
installing the product with the double-sided adhesive tape.
