Functions and features
In conjunction with a prismatic reflector or reflective tape the retro-reflective
sensor detects objects and materials without contact and indicates their presence
by a switched signal.
Range O5P...: 7 m (retro-reflective sensor with polarizationfilter); (values referred
to prismatic reflector with

80 mm and 50 mm).
Installation
Place prismatic reflector or reflective tape behind the object to be detected. ►
Align the photocell and fasten it to a mounting bracket. ►
Maximum range is only achieved with precise alignment.
Electrical connection
Disconnect power before connecting the sensor. ►
Connection strictly to the indications on the type label. ►
Operation
Check the safe functioning of the sensor. ►
The LED lights when the switching output is switched. >
Maintenance
Keep the lens of the sensor free from soiling. ►
For cleaning do not use any solvents or cleaning agents which could damage ►
the plastic lenses.
