Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der Drehgeber wandelt Drehbewegungen in Impulsfolgen. Mit ihnen
lassen sich Wegstrecken und Winkelbewegungen messen und Positio-
nen bestimmen.
Montage
Schalten Sie die Anlage spannungsfrei. Der Antrieb darf
während der Montage nicht in Betrieb gesetzt werden.
Nicht auf die Welle schlagen; Welle nicht mit Feile oder ähnli-
chem Werkzeug behandeln: Zerstörungsgefahr!
1. Schieben Sie den Drehgeber auf die Welle,
min. 46mm (20mm Hohlwelle); min. 56mm (50mm Hohlwelle).
2. Befestigen Sie die Statorkupplung durch vier Schrauben M4.
3. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben des Wellenklemmrings fest.
Verlängerung mit abgeschirmtem Verlängerungskabel; max. Länge
300m; getrennt von Störquellen verlegen (Mindestabstand ca. 20cm).
Gehäuse von Drehgeber, Verbindungsstecker/Klemmkasten und Aus-
werteelektronik über den Schirm miteinander verbinden und erden.

Functions and features
The encoder transforms rotational movement into pulse sequences.
They allow the measurement of linear distances and angular move-
ments as well as the detection of positions.
Installation
Disconnect power. The drive must not be started during installa-
tion. The encoder shaft must not be hit; do not use a file or a
similar tool on the shaft, it could destroy the unit.
1. Slide the encoder over the shaft,
min. 46mm (20mm hollow shaft); min. 56mm (50mm hollow shaft).
2. Fix the stator coupling by means of 4 M4 screws.
3. Tighten the screws of the clamping nut.
Extension by means of a screened extension cable; max. length 300m;
lay separately from sources of interference (min. spacing approx. 20cm).
Connect and ground the encoder housing, the connector/ terminal box
and the evaluation electronics via the screen.
