understand this Instruction Manual before operating or cleaning this appliance.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,

Operating Safety Precautions

plug out of its socket directly.
11. DO NOT damage the refrigerant tubing.
12. All maintenance on this unit should be done by an authorized repair technician.
13. DO NOT put bottled beverages in the freezer, as they may break and/or explode.
14. DO NOT put sealed containers of hot soups. sauces or foods into the freezer without cooling
o rst. Hot soups, sauces or foods placed into the freezer will grow bacteria and can cause
food poisoning.
15. DO NOT store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a ammable propellant in this
appliance. This appliance is intended for household use and similar uses such as:
• Sta kitchen areas in shops, oces and other working environments
• Farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts and other residential
environments
• Catering and similar non-retail applications
16. DANGER! RISK OF CHILD ENTRAPMENT! Before you throw away your old, TAKE OFF THE
DOORS! Leave the shelves and drawers in a place so that children may not easily climb
inside.

HOW TO OPERATE
Before rst use, remove all adhesive tape from the drawers, shelves, trays and drain tube
plug.
INSTALLATION
1. The freezer should be placed on a completely at surface. Allow 6 inches of space on each
side of the freezer and between the freezer and the wall. Also allow at least 28 inches of
space between the top of the freezer and the ceiling.
2. Choose a location for your freezer that is not exposed to sunlight, high temperature or
humidity, as humidity may stain and damage the freezer.
3. The appliance can be adjusted by rolling the two legs on the bottom right of the freezer if it
becomes unstable. Raise the freezer by rolling the adjustable feet clockwise.
4. The surface of the location where the freezer is installed should be rm and at. If freezer is
not secured in a proper location, noise and vibration may occur. The noise may be increased
if the oor is not rm. If you have to position the freezer on a carpeted oor, place a sheet
underneath the freezer, such as plywood or a plastic mat, to prevent heat emissions from
ruining the carpet.
5. Make sure that legs are pressed rmly into the oor.
PLACEMENT OF FOOD
1. There should always be some space between items inside for air circulation.
2. Food should be kept in sealed containers to avoid becoming dry, spoiled or creating odors
in the freezer.
3. Hot food should be cooled down before placing into the appliance. Otherwise, bacteria will
grow in food.
4. Reducing the frequency of opening the doors can lower the electronic consumption.
NOTE: Do not use any electronic equipment inside the appliance.
ADJUSTING TEMPERATURE
The temperature of the freezer can be controlled manually by the thermostat dial. As a
general rule, it is best to set thermostat in the middle.
DEFROSTING
Heavy frost will eect the eciency and performance of the freezer and can create
increased energy consumption. If the frost inside of the freezer gets as thick as ¼ inch, you
must defrost the freezer. Follow these steps to defrost the freezer:
1. Remove the storage basket and all food from the freezer.
2. Unplug the power supply cord.
3. Place a tray beneath the outer drain plug, then open the drain dial by rotating it 180
degrees.
4. Open the doors and wait for the appliance to thaw completely.
5. Clean up the water with dry towels.
NOTE: DO NOT use any other equipment or method to force the defrost process. It may ruin
the cooling system.
DISCONNECTING THE APPLIANCE
After a power failure the freezer can keep food cool for several hours if doors are kept shut.
If the power fails, do not put additional food into the freezer or open the doors.

Nostalgia Products LLC (the “Company”) hereby warrants that for a period of one (1) year from the date of
original purchase, this product will be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal home
use, provided that the product is operated and maintained in accordance with the operating instructions.
As the sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty, the Company will at its discretion either repair or
replace the product found to be defective, or issue a refund on the product during the warranty period.
This warranty is only available to the original retail purchaser of the product from the date of initial retail
purchase, and is only valid with the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase date is required to obtain
warranty benets. All warranty claims must be brought to the attention of the Company within the
warranty period and no later than 30 days of the failure to perform. This warranty does not cover normal
wear or damage caused by shipping, mishandling, misuse, accident, alteration, improper replacement
parts, or other than ordinary household use. You may be required to return the product (with shipping

Instrucciones para el cable eléctrico y el enchufe

2. 2. La unidad DEBE conectarse a tierra. En caso de cortocircuito, la conexión a tierra
reduce el riesgo de descarga eléctrica mediante la provisión de un cable de escape para la

PIEZAS Y ENSAMBLAJE
Su CONGELADOR DE PECHO no requiere ensamblaje. Antes de usarlo, retire todos los
materiales de empaque del interior del congelador, y desprenda la película protectora en el
exterior del congelador. Compruebe si el congelador tiene algún daño, tal como una puerta
desalineada o torcida, sellos de las puertas y supercies de sellado dañados, bisagras o
cierres de la puerta rotos o sueltos y abolladuras en el interior del congelador o en la puerta.
Si hay algún daño, NO haga funcionar el congelador. Devuelva el elemento dañado a la
tienda donde lo compró.

CÓMO UTILIZAR
Antes de utilizarlo por primera vez, quite toda la cinta adhesiva de los cajones, estantes,
bandejas y el tapón del tubo de drenaje.
INSTALACIÓN
1. El congelador debe colocarse en una supercie completamente plana. Deje 6 pulgadas de
separación a cada lado del congelador y entre el congelador y la pared. También deje al
menos 28 pulgadas de separación entre la parte superior del congelador y el techo.
2. Elija una ubicación para su congelador donde no quede expuesto a la luz solar directa, altas
temperaturas ni humedad, ya que la humedad puede manchar y dañar el congelador.
3. El aparato puede ajustarse girando las dos patas en la parte inferior derecha del congelador
si se vuelve inestable. Eleve el congelador haciendo girar las patas ajustables en sentido
horario.
4. La supercie en la cual se instale el congelador debe ser rme y plana. Si el congelador no se
asegura en una ubicación apropiada, pueden ocurrir ruidos y vibraciones. El ruido puede ser
mayor si el suelo no es rme. Si tiene que colocar el congelador sobre un piso alfombrado,
coloque una lámina debajo del congelador, tal como de madera contrachapada o una
esterilla plástica, para evitar que las emisiones de calor dañen la alfombra.
5. Asegúrese de que las patas estén rmemente instaladas en el suelo.
COLOCACIÓN DE LOS ALIMENTOS

AJUSTE DE LA TEMPERATURA

DESCONGELACIÓN
Mucha escarcha afectará la eciencia y el rendimiento del congelador y puede provocar un
