Cleansing Brew
Press the blinking button; the BREW
BREW button light will remain illuminated
while brewing. Brewing is complete when
all lights turn off. Pour the hot water into
the sink.
Do not remove the water reservoir or lift
the handle once the button has been BREW
pressed until the brew has completed.
The one-time setup process is now
complete and you are ready to brew!
Rinse & Fill
Plug the brewer in. Remove the water
reservoir by lifting it straight up from
the brewer. Remove the lid and rinse
the reservoir with fresh water. Fill the
reservoir with fresh water up to the
8 oz line. Replace the lid. Replace
reservoir, making sure it is seated
properly in the brewer. Place a large
mug (10 oz minimum) on the drip tray.
NOTE: Do not use distilled water.
Open & Close
Open the handle by lifting straight
up as shown. Do not insert a
K-Cup® pod. Close the handle by
pushing straight down. The BREW
button will blink, indicating the
handle is closed properly.

Fill Reservoir
Remove the water reservoir by
lifting it straight up from the
brewer. Remove the lid and
ill reservoir with water to the
desired brew size. Replace the
lid. Replace reservoir, making
sure it is seated properly in
the brewer.
NOTE: Do not use distilled water.
Brew & Enjoy!

CAUTION: While brewing, there is
extremely hot water in the K-Cup®
pod holder. To avoid injury, do not lift
the handle during the brewing process.
After brewing one-step latte
beverage, do a water rinse cycle.
Place Mug & Pod
Place a mug on the drip tray. If using a
travel mug, remove the drip tray and
place the mug on the counter in the drip
tray location. Open the handle and place
a K-Cup® pod in the K-Cup® pod holder.
Close the handle by pushing straight
down. The BREW button will blink,
indicating the handle is closed properly.
Do not remove the foil lid on the
K-Cup® pod.

MAINTENANCE ALERT: Reminds you to descale after
every 250 brews.
AUTO OFF: Automatically turns your brewer off
5 minutes after the last brew for energy savings, but
will be ready to brew as soon as it is powered on again.
HIGH ALTITUDE: To ensure your coffee maker works
properly at higher altitudes (5,000 feet), please enable
the High Altitude Brewing Mode on your coffee maker.
ENABLE HIGH ALTITUDE MODE:
1.
Begin with the brewer unplugged.
2. While holding down button, plug the brewer BREW
into power outlet. Continue holding the BREW button
and wait until the light illuminates; after 5 DESCALE
seconds, release the button. The BREW DESCALE
light will turn off after a short time, indicating High
Altitude Mode has been enabled.
DISABLE HIGH ALTITUDE MODE:
1. Begin with the brewer unplugged.
2. While holding down button, plug the brewer BREW
into power outlet. Continue holding the BREW button
and wait until the light blinks once, then DESCALE
remains illuminated; after 5 seconds, release the
BREW button. The DESCALE light will turn off after
a short time, indicating High Altitude Mode has
been disabled.
Caring For Your Brewer
Regular cleaning keeps your brewer running smoothly. Always be sure to turn off and unplug your brewer before cleaning.
The water reservoir should be
cleaned periodically by wiping the
inside of the reservoir and underside
of the lid with a damp, nonabrasive,
lint-free cloth. Do not dry the inside
of the water reservoir with a cloth, as
lint may remain. Allow the reservoir
to dry completely. Hand-wash only.
Brewer Exterior
Keep your Keurig® brewer looking its
best by cleaning the exterior from
time to time. Just clean with a damp,
soapy, lint-free, nonabrasive cloth.
Never immerse the brewer in water or
other liquids.
Drip Tray
The drip tray overlow should be emptied and
cleaned occasionally. To remove, lift up off
brewer base, keeping it level to avoid spilling.
Rinse and clean with a damp, soapy, lint-free,
nonabrasive cloth. Hand-wash only.
