Change: Engine oil and oil lter
Inspect*: Battery condition, brake/clutch** uid, brake lines and connections, power
steering pump and belt, exhaust pipe and mufer, front suspension ball joints, chassis/
body nuts and bolts, parking brake, suspension mounting bolts, air cleaner element, fuel
tank and cap, fuel lines and hoses, vacuum and crankcase ventilation hoses, disc brakes
and pads, drive shaft and boots, drum brakes and linings**, power steering uid, steering
linkage and hoses, tire tread wear
Lubricate: All locks and hinges
Perform: Rotate tires

Inspect*: Automatic/manual transaxle uid, fuel tank air lter

Replace: Air cleaner element, spark plugs, fuel tank air lter, fuel lter
Inspect*: Front suspension ball joints, chassis/body nuts and bolts, engine timing belt

Inspect: Drive belts
E
Replace: Timing belt
*and, if necessary, adjust, clean, correct or replace.
** if equipped
Rotate tires every 7,500 miles or 12 months.
Check tire pressure monthly.
Inspect air conditioner compressor and refrigerant amount annually.
Replace climate control air lter every 10,000 miles.
Replace engine coolant at 120,000 miles or 120 months and then every 30,000 miles or 24 months
Inspect water pump when replacing drivebelt or timing belt.
Inspect brake pedal frequently depending on operating conditions.

Demonstrate the following with the customer
Low Tire Pressure Indicator Windshield Wiper/WasherTPMS Malfunction Indicator Rear Wiper/Washer*
Confirm “Good Battery” with Micro 570 tester
Verify all tire pressures are to spec (see driver’s door label) LF_______ LR_______ RF_______ RR_______
Verify all remote keyless entry lock/unlock
Ensure floormats are snapped into place (if applicable)
Verify vehicle is clean (interior and exterior), in good condition, free of chips and scratches
Ensure all key documents are in the vehicle (Owner’s Manual, Warranty and Consumer Information booklet, Tire
Warranty booklet, and Features & Functions Guide)
Climate Control System* - page 12
Max Defrost: Select Defrost
Mode, then select Max
Fan Speed and set Temperature to Hot
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) - page 2
Ensure Customer Understanding of the following:
Tire pressure may vary in colder temperatures causing
the low tire pressure light
to illuminate. Inflate
tires according to the Tire Pressure Label located on
the driver’s side door pillar.

The front PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF indicator may turn
ON if there is no passenger or the adult passenger is
small or out of position. When this indicator is lit, the
front passenger’s air bag will not operate.
