Kopul’s 4×4 Channel XLR to RJ45 Network Cable Extender is
a simple and economical solution to replace heav y, bulky,
and costly audio and DMX snakes with thin, lightweight,
and economical ethernet or etherCON cables. Link sound
boards, PA systems, multitrack recorders, and DMX-
equipped lights with clean and interference-free signals over
cable runs that can extend 3000 feet.
Each ethernet cable provides four channels of balanced
mic level, AES/EBU, and DMX signals and extend the length
of your cable runs without interference, signal loss, or added
coloration. This passive network extender requires no
external power to operate, and there’s no digital audio con-
version. Gold-plated XLR connectors assure superb signal
transfer and resist corrosion, and durable steel construction
stands up to demanding travel and studio environments.

• Clean the unit with
only a soft, dry cloth.
• Turn volume levels
down or turn audio
systems off before
making connections to
and from the Extender.
• A shielded Cat cable
must be used in order
to pass 48 V phantom
power for a condenser
microphone.
