Six-Circuit Multi-Cable Tester
User Manual
Quick Safety Test:
Step 1: Plug the Tester in the multi-cable or break-in (fan-in) being diagnosed
Step 2: Apply power to all six circuits. If dimmed, bring the circuits to full intensity
Step 3: LEDs should illuminate, indicating the presence of power
• Green ‘L-N’ LEDs illuminated - voltage between line and neutral
• This indicates a correct state
• Yellow ‘L-G’ LEDs illuminated - voltage between line and ground
• This indicates a correct state
• Red ‘N-G’ LEDs illuminated - voltage between neutral and ground
• This indicates a fault state, where there is voltage between the neutral
and ground pins
Step 4: If the LEDs do not illuminate as indicated or faults are detected, the
Individual Circuit Test can be useful in determining the nature of the fault

CAUTION: The Lex Products LT-19P 6-Circuit Multi-Cable Tester is a diagnostic tool designed for the Entertainment market. It is
intended for troubleshooting purposes and must be used by qualied personnel. The use of a multi-meter is recommended for voltage
sensitive testing. The Tester will not verify mechanical wire bonding methods.
Individual Circuit Test:
Step 1: Plug the tester into the cable being diagnosed
Step 2: Power up circuit 1. If dimmed, bring it to full
Step 3: Compare the illuminated LEDs in column #1 against the
chart at right
Step 4: Deactivate circuit #1 and power up circuit #2
Step 5: Repeat Step 3 as above, viewing column #2 indicators
Step 6: Repeat Step 4 for each of the remaining circuits
PLEASE NOTE:
• If the red ‘N-G’ LED is illuminated, this may cause a neutral error
on the equipment being energized. Possible causes for faults may
be mis-wired connector(s) or shorted cable conductors
• It is possible for the ‘N-G’ and another LED indicator to be
illuminated, which would help to determine the fault location
