MICROWAVEOVEN CANCEL OR LOWER OVEN CANCEL

The Cancel keypad stops any microwave oven or lower oven function except for the Clock,

Timer, and Control Lock.

The oven will also turn off when the door is opened. When the door is opened, the element(s)

and fan will turn off, but the oven light will remain on. Close the door and touch START to

resume the preset cycle.

The oven cooling fan may continue to operate even after an oven function has been canceled

or completed,depending on the oven temperature.

POSITIONING RACKSAND BAKEWARE

Rack Positions

IMPORTANT :To avoid permanent damage to

the porcelain finish, do not place food or

bakeware directly on the oven door or bottom.

Racks

�Position racks before turning on the oven.

�Do not position racks with bakeware on them.

�Make sure racks are level.

�Place food so it will not rise into the broil

element. Allow at least 1/2" (1.3 cm) between

pans and the broil element.

To move a rack, pull it out to the stop position,

raise the front edge, and then lift it out. Use the

following illustrations as a guide for positioning

racks.

Baking LayerCakes on 1 Rack

Place the cakes on the rack as shown.

Multiple Rack Cooking

2-rack: Use rack positions 2 and 5 for regular

baking.

Baking LayerCakes on 2 Racks

For best results when baking cakes on 2 racks,

use rack positions 2 and 5 with the Bake

function. Place the cakes on the racks as shown.

Baking Cookieson 2 Racks

For best results when baking cookies on 2 racks,

use rack positions 2 and 5 with the Bake

function.

ALUMINUM FOIL (For OvensOnly)

IMPORTANT: To avoid permanent damage to the oven bottom finish, do not line the oven

bottom with any type of foil or liner.

For best cooking results, do not cover entire oven rack with foil because air must be able to

move freely.

Care must be taken to prevent aluminum foil and meat probes from contacting heating

elements.

ALUMINUM FOIL AND METAL(For Microwave Ovens Only)

Always useovenmitts or pot holders whenremoving dishesfrom the microwave oven.

Aluminumfoil and somemetal can be used in the microwave oven. If not used properly, arcing

(ablue flash of light) can occur and cause damage to the microwave oven.

OVEN VENT(S)

The oven vent(s)should

not beblockedor

covered sincethey allow

the inletof freshair into

the coolingsystem. Also,

the bottomventshould

not beblockedor

covered sinceitallows

the inletof freshair into

the coolingsystemand

the outletof hotairfrom

the coolingsystem.

Blocking or covering

vents willcause poor air

circulation, affecting

cooking,cleaning and

OVEN LIGHTS

The oven lights are 120V,40W maximum halogen bulbs. They will come on when the oven

door is opened. On double oven models, both upper andlower lights will come onwhen

eitherdoor isopened. The ovenlights will not work during the Self-Cleaningcycle.

When thedoor is closed, touch the appropriate OvenLight keypadtoturn ontheoven light.

To Replace:

Before replacing the bulb,make suretheoven is offand cool.

WARNING

Electrical Shock Hazard

Disconnectpower beforeservicing.

Usea new50amppowersupply cord.

Plug intoagroundedoutlet.

Failure tofollowtheseinstructionscanresult in

death, fire,orelectrical shock.

1. Disconnect power.

2. Remove glasslight cover by grasping the front edge

and pulling away from oven.

3. Remove bulb from socket.

4. Replace bulb,usingtissue or wearing cotton glovesto

handle bulb. To avoid damage to or decreasing the

life ofthenewbulb,donottouch bulb with bare

fingers.

5. Replacebulb coverby snappingback intowall.

6. Reconnect power.

IMPORTANT: Do not use lamps rated higher than 40 W.

SABBATHMODE:

TheSabbathModesets untiltheoventoremainoninabakesetting disabled.
