CAUTION: Metra recommends disconnecting the
negative battery terminal before beginning any
installation. All accessories, switches, and especially
air bag indicator lights must be plugged in before
reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition.
NOTE: Refer to the instructions included with the
aftermarket radio.

1. Using Metra’s 86-5618 pull the factory radio
from the dash and disconnect wiring.
(Figure A)

Double DIN radio provision

1. Attach the double DIN brackets
to the radio using the screws that
came with the radio. (Figure A)
2. Trim the sub-dash in the upper left
corner. (Figure B)
3. Locate the factory wiring harness
in the dash. Metra recommends
using the proper mating adapter
from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect
the negative battery terminal and
test the radio for proper operation.
4. Insert radio and kit into dash and
snap assembly into the dash.
Note: Some aftermarket radios
will not fit into the opening of the
original bezel. If this is the case,
with your installation, the bezel will
have to be carefully trimmed to
allow the radio to snap-in.
5. Reassemble dash in reverse
order of disassembly. (Figure A) (Figure B)
