Accensione

Premere e tenere premuto il tasto [4] per circa 3 secondi. MIDLAND ONDA emetterà 3 beep di tonalità

diverse; il display eseguirà un auto test per un secondo e visualizzerà l’ultimo canale utilizzato.

Blocco tastiera

Mantenere premuto il tasto LOCK [3]. Il simbolo che appare sul display per circa tre secondi indica la sua at-

tivazione. Per la disattivazione, premere e tenere premuto nuovamente il tasto LOCK [3] e ▼ per un secondo.

Regolazione volume

Per regolare il volume sul livello ottimale, mantenere premuto il tasto LOCK no a bloccare la tastiera. Pre-

mere ▲/▼ nchè non si ottiene il livello desiderato (sul display vengono visualizzati ‘VL’ e il livello di volume

impostato).

I livelli di volume impostabili vanno da 1 a 8.

Dal 7 all’8 si impostano in modo diverso: allo step 6 mantenere premuto ▲ per circa 4 secondi; ora è impostato

il livello 7. Ripetere la stessa procedura per impostare il livello 8.

Selezione canali

Sbloccare la tastiera, premere ▲/▼per selezionare il canale desiderato.

Trasmettere

Collegare un accessorio esterno alla presa jack 2.5mm. Premendo il tasto PTT sull’accessorio è possibile

trasmettere; sul display della radio viene visualizzato ‘TX’.

Ascolto (Ricezione)

La ricezione di un segnale verrà indicata con la scritta ‘RX’.

Auto power save

MIDLAND ONDA è dotato di un dispositivo automatico di risparmio batterie che consente di ridurre i consumi

delle batterie no al 50%; se la radio non riceve alcun segnale per circa 7 secondi la funzione viene attivata

automaticamente.

Ricarica

Quando il pacco batteria è scarico, l’icona lampeggia sul display, occorre quindi procedere alla ricarica pri-

ma possibile. La ricarica dell’apparato può avvenire in due modi: inserendolo nell’apposito caricatore da tavolo,

oppure utilizzando il caricatore da muro direttamente nella presa CHG dell’apparato stesso.

Quando la radio è in ricarica, l’icona della batteria scompare e viene mostrata la scritta “Ch”.

Se la radio viene posta in carica spenta, sul display compare la scritta “Ch” e quando la batteria sarà total-

mente carica, la scritta “Ch” scompare dal display e appare “FL” per circa 1 minuto, poi il display si spegne.

Se invece la radio viene posta in carica accesa, la scritta “Ch” si alternerà con la visualizzazione del canale

in uso e quando la batteria è totalmente carica “Ch” sarà sostituito da “FL”, che dopo pochi minuti sparirà.

Squelch

Nel MIDLAND ONDA il ltro per la riduzione del rumore di fondo (squelch) è attivo di default.

Beep tastiera

Il beep tastiera (tono dei tasti alla loro pressione) è attivo di default.

ATTENZIONE

L’adattatore di alimentazione è il dispositivo di disconnessione dell’apparato; la base di carica della

corrente deve restare vicino all’apparato e facilmente accessibile.

CTE International dichiara che l’apparato è conforme ai requisiti essenziali della direttiva RTTE 1999/05/CE.

Battery compartment

Hold the unit face down, unscrew the screw xing the belt clip and slide

the cover towards the bottom of the radio. Then, insert the battery pack as

shown in this picture.

Display backlight:

When you press ▲/▼, the display will light up

for approximately 5 seconds.

Toturntheradioon/off

Hold down [4] button for 3 seconds. MIDLAND ONDA beeps 3 times with different tones. The LCD displays

a “self-test” message for 1 second, it will then show the last channel selected.

Keypad lock

Hold down LOCK [3]. The icon appears on the display for about 3 seconds and conrms that the keypad is

locked. To deactivate it, hold down LOCK [3] and ▼ buttons for one second.

Volume adjustment

To adjust the volume to the desired level, hold down LOCK button until the keypad is locked. Press ▲/▼until

you nd the desired level (‘VL’ and the selected volume level appear on the display). You can choose amongst

8 different levels, from 1 to 8.

Levels from 7 to 8 are set with a different procedure: in step 6, hold down ▲ for 4 seconds; now you have set

level 7. Repeat the same procedure to set level 8.

Channel selection

Unlock the keypad and push ▲/▼ to select the desired channel.

To transmit

Connect an external accessory to the jack 2.5mm. By pressing PTT button on the ext.accessory, the transmis-

sion is activated; ‘TX’ will appear on the radio display.

Listening (Reception)

When the radio is in reception mode, ‘RX’ will appear on the display.

Auto power save

MIDLAND ONDA is supplied with an automatic current economy circuit. If the receiver receives no signal for

7 seconds or longer the “power save function” automatically activates. This may increase the battery life by

up to 50 %.

Recharge

When the battery pack is discharged, the icon blinks on the display. The recharge can be done in two ways:

insert the radio into the proper seat of the desktop charger or use the wall adaptor.

When the radio is being charged, the icon

disappears and “Ch” is displayed.

If you charge the radio when it’s switched off, “Ch” appears on the display till the charge is complete; then

“Ch” will by replaced by “FL” which will disappear after one minute.

If you charge the radio when it’s switched on, “Ch” and the channel in use are alternately displayed. When the

recharge is complete, “Ch” will be replaced by “FL” that will disappear from the display after a few minutes.

Squelch

In your MIDLAND ONDA the background noise reduction device (squelch) is activated at factory.

Keypad beep

The keypad beep (buttons tone at their pressure) is activated by default.

MIDLAND ONDA ist unser neues Tourist-Radio System im

neuen modernen Design. Extrem klein, leicht und kompakt,

bietet MIDLAND ONDA eine sehr praktische Lösung für die

Gruppen-Kommunikation innerhalb von Reisegruppen oder

Führungen.

MIDLAND ONDA hat ein alphanumerisches LC Display und

wird mit einer auswechselbaren Lithium-Ionen-Batterie (Be-

Li-Ionen-Akku einsetzen

Den Batteriefachdeckel können Sie nach Abschrauben des Gürtelclips

auf der Rückseite abnehmen. Dazu drücken Sie am oberen Ende des

Batteriefachs leicht auf die Markierung und ziehen gleichzeitig den De-

ckel nach unten ab.

Displaybeleuchtung

Ein kurzer Druck auf die ▲/▼ Taste beleuchtet

das Display für etwa 5 Sekunden.

Ein- und Ausschalten

Drücken Sie etwa 3 Sekunden lang die [4] –Taste.

Mit einem Mehrfachton zur Bestätigung schaltet sich das Gerät auf dem zuletzt benutzten Kanal ein (bzw. aus).

Tastensperre

LOCK [3] Taste drücken und gedrückt halten. Das Symbol erscheint im Display nach ca. 3 Sekunden and

zeigt an, dass die Tasten gegen zufällige Fehlbedienung gesperrt sind. Zum Entsperren drücken Sie die Tasten

LOCK [3] und ▼ zusammen für 1 Sekunde, bis das Symbol

wieder erlischt.

Lautstärkeeinstellung

Zum Einstellung der gewünschten Lautstärke zunächst Lautstärkeregelung freigeben. Dazu LOCK-Taste drü-

cken bis VL erscheint. Mit ▲/▼ wählen Sie dann den gewünschten Lautstärkewert (‘VL’ and der gerade ein-

gestellte Wert erscheint im Display zwischen 1 und 8)

Dabei werden die Werte 7-8, die nur schwerhörigen Personen vorbehalten sind, zunächst gesperrt Die Stufen

7 und 8 erscheinen aus Sicherheitsgründen nur bei längerem Drücken (4 Sekunden) der ▲- Taste.

Kanaleinstellung

Entsperren Sie die Tasten mit LOCK [3] und mit ▲/▼stellen Sie den gewünschten Kanal ein.

Zum Senden

Externes Audio-Zubehör an der 2.5 mm Klinkenbuchse einstecken. Am Audiogerät ist eine Sendetaste (PTT),

die Sie zum Senden drücken können. Beim Senden erscheint ‘TX’ im Display.

Empfang

Bei Empfang eines Signals leuchtet ‘RX’ auf.

Stromsparschaltung und Batterie-Warnanzeige

Auch der Stromverbrauch Ihres MIDLAND ONDA wird durch den zentralen Prozessor optimiert: Sobald mehr

als 7 Sekunden lang kein Signal mehr empfangen wird, werden alle nicht unbedingt benötigten Schaltungen im

Gerät vorübergehend deaktiviert, solange, bis wieder ein Empfangssignal registriert wird.

Auaden

Wird der Akku-Pack Ihres Funkgerätes schwächer, blinkt im Display. Zum Auaden gibt es zwei Methoden:

Entweder stellen Sie das Gerät in den Standlader oder schliessen Sie ein Steckerladegerät in die Zubehör-

buchse.

Wenn Sie das Gerät im ausgeschalteten Zustand auaden, erscheint die Ladeanzeige “Ch” im Display.

Sobald die Ladung abgeschlossen ist, wechselt die Anzeige zunächst von “Ch” auf “FL”, nach 1 Minute

erlischt die Anzeige.

Wenn Sie das Gerät im eingeschalteten Zustand auaden, erscheint die Ladeanzeige “Ch” im Display im

Wechsel mit der Kanalnummer. Sobald die Ladung abgeschlossen ist, wechselt diese Anzeige von “Ch” auf

“FL”, nach einigen Minuten erlischt die Anzeige.

Squelch (Rauschsperre)

Bei Ihrem MIDLAND ONDA ist die automatische Rauschunterdrückung (Squelch) ab Werk bereits aktiviert.

Tastentöne

Bestätigungstöne sind ab Werk bereits aktiviert.

Um im Bedarfsfall die Funkanlage sicher vom Stromnetz trennen zu können, ziehen Sie bitte - falls

notwendig- den Stecker des Ladeadapters hinaus.

Compartimento de baterías

Coloque el equipo boca abajo, quite el tornillo de jación del clip de

cinturón y deslice la tapa hacia la parte baja de la radio. Inserte el

pack de baterías como se muestra en la imagen.

Iluminación del display

Pulse ▲/▼ para activar la iluminación del display

durante 5 segundos aproximadamente.

Y AHORA, ¡LISTO PARA COMUNICARSE!...

Encender/Apagarlaradio

Pulse y mantenga pulsada durante 3 segundos la tecla [4]. MIDLAND ONDA emitirá 3 pitidos con diferente

tono. El display muestra un mensaje de auto-test durante 1 segundo, mostrando a continuación el último canal

seleccionado.

Bloqueo del teclado

Pulse y mantenga pulsada durante 3 segundos la tecla LOCK [3]. El símbolo aparece en el display durante

3 segundos para conrmar que el bloqueo ha sido activado. Para desbloquear el teclado, pulse LOCK [3] y ▼.

Ajuste del Volumen

Para ajustar el volumen al nivel deseado, mantenga pulsada la tecla LOCK hasta que el teclado se bloquee.

Pulse ▲/▼ hasta encontrar el volumen deseado (‘VL’ y el volumen seleccionado aparece en el display). Pue-

de escoger entre 8 niveles diferentes marcados desde el 1 hasta el 8.

Los niveles 7 y 8 se ajustan de manera diferente: cuando el volumen esté en 6, mantenga pulsada ▲ durante

4 segundos; ahora habrá cambiado al nivel 7. Repita el mismo procedimiento para ajustarlo al nivel 8.

Selección del Canal

Desbloquear el teclado y pulse ▲/▼ para seleccionar el canal deseado.

Para tansmitir

Conecte un micrófono o micro-auricular externo a la toma de 2.5mm de la radio. Cuando pulse el botón PTT

en el mcirófono externo, se activará la transmisión; ‘TX’ aparecerá en el display.

Recepción

Cuando reciba una señal, en el display aparecerá ‘RX’.

Ahorro de energía

Si el equipo no recibe ninguna señal durante 7 segundos o más, entra en funcionamiento un circuito automáti-

co de ahorro de batería el cual puede incrementar la autonomía de la batería hasta un 50%.

Recarga

Cuando la batería está descargada, el icono parpadea en el display.

La recarga se puede hacer de dos maneras: insertar la radio dentro en el cargador de sobremesa o utilizar

el adaptador de pared. Cuando la radio esta en carga, el icono de la batería

desaparece y aparece en el

display “Ch”.

Si recarga las baterías con la radio apagada, mostrará “Ch” en el display hasta que la carga este completa;

entonces “Ch” desaparecerá y el display mostrará “FL” que desaparecerá un minuto después.

Si recarga las baterías con la radio encendida, mostrará “Ch” y el canal actualmente en uso. Cuando la carga

este completa, el display mostrará “FL” en vez de “Ch” que desaparecerá en pocos minutos.

Squelch

El dispositivo para la reducción del ruido de fondo (squelch) del MIDLAND ONDA viene activado de fábrica.

Tonos del teclado

El tono del teclado (sonido del teclado al pulsar una tecla) viene activado de fábrica.

ATENCIÓN

El adaptador de alimentación es el dispositivo de desconexión del equipo; la base de carga debe que-

dar cerca del equipo y ser fácilmente accesible.
