- This product is designed for household use only -
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precauons should always be followed,
including the following:
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against re, electrical shock and personal injury, do not immerse this
appliance, including cord and plug, in water or other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. To disconnect, turn any control to “o,” then remove plug from wall outlet.
6. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool completely
before pung on or taking o parts, and before cleaning.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or aer the appliance
malfuncons or has been damaged in any manner. To avoid hazards, return
appliance to NESCO® Factory Service Department for examinaon, repair or
adjustment.
8. The use of accessory aachments not recommended by the manufacturer may
result in re, electric shock or injury to persons.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electrical burner or in a heated oven.
12. Do not use appliance for other than intended use described in this manual.
13. Do not use metal scouring pads on the exterior surface of the appliance.
14. Scalding may occur if lid is lied during the boiling cycle or when the unit is hot.
15. Use the kele with only the base staon supplied.
16. Be sure the kele is properly located on the base staon before switching it ON.
17. Do not remove the kele from base staon unl it is switched OFF, either manually
or automacally.
18. Remove kele from base staon before lling or pouring.
19. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical sensory or mental capabilies, unless they have been given supervision or
instrucon concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
20. This appliance is intended for use in household and similar applicaons such
as: sta kitchen areas in shops, oces, farm houses, and bed/breakfast type
environments.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Polarized Plug: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
To reduce risk of electric shock, plug is intended to t into polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it sll does not t, contact
a qualied electrician. Do not try to modify the plug in any way.
Short Cord Instrucons: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk
resulng from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords
may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used, the marked
electrical rang of the cord should be at least as great as the electrical rang of the
appliance. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the tabletop
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintenonally.
