Installation Overview

Step 1 Install the Excalibur or Omegalink/EVO remote start:

Follow the instructions provided with the remote start and be sure to

program the module to the vehicle successfully.

Step 2 Connect the RFK-X2-2N9 antenna: (See wiring on page 2)

a. Excalibur 70-Series RS systems: Connect the mating end of the

4 pin antenna harness to the RFK-XX-SST antenna and connect

the other end of the 4 pin antenna harness to the antenna port. The

adaptor harness is not used.

b. OL-RS/EVO-ONE modules: Connect the mating end of the 4 pin

antenna harness to the RFK-XX-SST antenna and connect the other

end of the 4 pin antenna harness to the adaptor harness. Connect

the mating end of the adaptor harness to the proper data port of the

module. Red and Black wires are not used.

c. OL-MDB-ALL/EVO-ALL modules: Connect the mating end of the

4 pin harness to the RFK-XX-SST antenna and connect the other

end of the 4 pin antenna harness to the adaptor harness. Plug the

mating connector of the adaptor harness into the OL-MDB-ALL/EVO-

ALL accordingly. Connect the Red & Black wires to constant power &

Ground as shown in the diagram on page 2.

Step 3 Mount the RFK-XX-SST antenna:

Choose a mounting location high on the windshield for best

operating range. Be sure that the location will not obstruct the driver’s

view and is easily reached to access the valet/programming button.

Route the ribbon harness to your chosen location avoiding sharp or

moving objects. Clean the mounting surface and attach the antenna

with the provided double-stick tape.

Step 4 Proceed with remote programming.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN: Have all remotes for the system at hand.

1) Turn the ignition key “ON” (do not start).

2) Press the valet button 5 times within 5 seconds of step 1.

3) Press & release the “lock” button on each transmitter one at a time.

- 1-button models, press the “start” button.

- The siren/horn may chirp once for each transmitter.

- NOTE: When any remote is learned all previous remotes are

erased.

- NOTE: All other button functions will automatically be assigned.

4) Turn the ignition key “OFF” to exit programming.

- NOTE: The system will auto-exit after 10 seconds of no activity.

Programming Transmitters/Controllers

Programming Features (OmegaLink/EVO units only*)

1) Turn the ignition key “ON”, then “OFF”.

2) Press the valet button 5 times

- This must be done within 5 seconds of step 1.

4) Press the transmitter button that matches the desired setting.

- 1-BUTTON MODELS: Change the feature by pressing the

transmitter button equal to the desired setting (see chart below).

5) TO CHANGE ADDITIONAL FEATURES: Repeat steps 3 & 4

6) Turn the ignition key “ON” then “OFF” to exit programming.
