2 Connect the handset cord ( ), then conﬁrm 

the dial tone.

3 Set the DIALING MODE selector to TONE.

If you cannot dial, set to PULSE.

4 Set the RINGER selector to HIGH, LOW or

OFF.

(Ex. “LOW” is selected.)

2-A Making Calls

1 When the unit rings, lift the handset.

2 When ﬁnished talking, hang up.

2-B Answering Calls

1 Lift the handset.

2 Dial a phone number.

 If you misdial, hang up and start again from

step 1.

3 When ﬁnished talking, hang up.

To redial the last number dialed

Lift the handset. Press (REDIAL).

To adjust the receiver volume (4 levels)

while talking

To increase, press (^).

To decrease, press (_).

After hanging up, the volume level will be saved.

2 3Operation Special Features

3-A For Call Waiting Service Users

Press (FLASH) if you hear a call-waiting tone

while talking.

 The ﬁrst call is put on hold and you can answer the

second call.

To return to the ﬁrst caller, press again.(FLASH)

3-B Temporary Tone Dialing

(For Rotary or Pulse Service Users)

Press ($) (TONE) before entering access

numbers which require tone dialing.

The dialing mode changes to tone. You can enter

numbers to access answering services, electronic

banking services, etc. When you hang up, the

mode will return to pulse.

The unit can be mounted on a wall phone plate.

1 Press the tabs in the direction of the arrows

(), then remove the wall mounting adaptor

 Environment—do not place the unit in a room

where the temperature is less than 5C (41F)

or greater than 40 C (104 F). Allow 10 cm (4)

clearance around the unit for proper ventilation.

Avoid excessive smoke, dust, mechanical

vibration, shock, or direct sunlight.

 Routine care—wipe the unit with a soft cloth. Do

not use benzine, thinner, or any abrasive powder.

 If there is any trouble—disconnect the unit from

the telephone line and connect a known working

phone. If the known working phone operates

properly, have your unit repaired by one of the

authorized Panasonic Factory Service Centers.

If the known working phone does not operate

properly, consult your telephone company.

4-C Helpful Information

When set to OFF, the unit will not ring.

3 Connect the telephone line cord. Mount the

unit, then slide down.

Fasten the cord to prevent it from being

disconnected.

2 Tuck the telephone line cord inside the

wall mounting adaptor, and push it in the

direction of the arrow ( and  ).

 The word “UP WALL” should face upward.

3 Cuando termine de hablar, cuelgue.

Levante el auricular.

Para ajustar el volumen de la bocina

(4 niveles) mientras habla

Para aumentar, presione (^).

Para disminuir, presione (_).

Después de colgar, el nivel del volumen se guardará.

Presione (FLASH) si Ud. escucha un tono de

llamada en espera mientras habla.

 La primera llamada es puesta en espera y Ud.

puede contestar la segunda llamada.

Para regresar a la primera llamada presione

(FLASH) otra vez.

3-B Marcación en tono temporal

Presione ($) (TONE) antes de introducir los

números de acceso que requieren marcación

por tono.

El modo de marcación cambia a tono. Ud. puede

introducir números para accesar servicios de

contestadora, servicios electrónicos de bancos, etc.

Cuando Ud. cuelga, el modo vuelve a pulsación.

La unidad puede ser montada en la pared.

1 Presione las lengüetas en el sentido de las

ﬂechas ( ) y luego quite el adaptador de 

 Medio Ambiente—No coloque la unidad en un

cuarto donde la temperatura sea inferior a los

5C (41F) o superior a los 40C (104F). Deje un

espacio libre de 10 cm (4 ) alrededor de la unidad 

para tener una ventilación adecuada. Evite el humo

en exceso, polvo, vibración mecánica, choques o la

luz del sol directa.

 Cuidados de rutina—Limpie la unidad con un

paño blando. No utilice benceno, solvente, o

cualquier tipo de polvo abrasivo.

 Si hay algún problema—Desconecte la unidad

de la línea de teléfono y conecte un teléfono que

Ud. conozca y esté en buenas condiciones.Si el

teléfono en buen estado funciona correctamente,

encargue la reparación de la unidad a uno de los

centros de reparaciones autorizados de Panasonic.

Cuando esté colocado en OFF, la unidad no

sonará.

3 Conecte el cable de la línea telefónica.

Monte la unidad, luego deslícela hacia abajo.

Ajuste el cable para evitar que se desconecte.
