Setting up
SIM card and battery
RAfter installing the SIM card and battery,
press M N for about 2 seconds to turn
the power on (page 6).

Note:
RUse only the battery specified.
RWipe the battery ends ( , ) and SIM
card with a dry cloth.
RAvoid touching the battery ends ( , ) or
the unit contacts.
RDo not damage, carelessly handle, or
short-circuit the SIM card gold-coloured
contacts. Data might be lost or a
malfunction might occur.
Battery charging
Charge for about 3 hours.
RCharging time and battery life might
differ depending on the condition of the
network.
RUse only the supplied AC adaptor.
Battery indicator
n Using the charger
RThe phone will make a sound when it is
placed correctly into the charger and the
battery indicator will come on.
To power outlet
Note:
RWhen the battery is fully charged, the
battery indicator goes off.
RThe battery might swell when its life is close
to an end. This is dependent on the usage
conditions and is not a problem.
RIt is normal for the phone and AC adaptor
to feel warm during charging.
