I.Introductionaboutthefunctions
Digitalstroboscopetachometerisarotationspeedmeasuringdevicethatmakesuseofpersistenceofvision(whenthe
lightsourcesynchronizeswiththerotationspeedofanobjectatapre-setflashingfrequency,arelativelystaticphenomenon
calledvisualpersistencewilloccur).
Inthecourseofobservationofanobjectthatrotatesormovesatahighspeed,adjusttheflashingfrequencyofthedeviceto
synchronizeitwiththerotationormovementspeedoftheobject.Althoughtheobjectbeingmeasuredmovesatahighspeed,it
lookslikemovingslowlyorstatic.Thisisanopticalphenomenonofvisualpersistencewherebyhigh-speedmovementof
anobjectcanbeeasilyobservedwiththenakedeye.Byusingthismethod,therotationspeedofvariousrotatingobjectscan
bemeasured,andthemovementanddefectsonthesurfaceofanobjectcanbeinspectedordetected.Itiswidelyusedtodetect
thedefectsonthesurfaceandmovementtrackofhigh-speedrotatingobjectssuchasvarioustypesofrotors,meshing
gears,vibrationdiagnosticequipmentaswellastextiles,printingproductionlines,etc.
