1. Introduction

2. Safety Instructions
• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will not
accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
• Store the scales in a horizontal position.
• Never overload the scales.
• Do not submerge the scales in liquids. Clean the platform using with a soft cloth and some glass cleaner.
• Never leave objects on top of the scales. Remove the batteries if the scales are to be stored for a long period.
• Stand in the middle of the scales. SLIPPING DANGER: ALWAYS DRY YOUR FEET PRIOR TO STEPPING ONTO THE
SCALES.
• Store the scales out of direct sunlight and away from humidity, extreme temperatures, strong magnetic fields and heating
devices.
• Handle the scales with care: the glass platform may break when dropped.
3. Setting up the Scales
• Insert two lithium CR2032 batteries respecting the polarity. Make sure the
batteries are pushed all the way into the slot. Press the tab to take them out
(see fig.).
• Place the scales on a hard and flat surface.
4. Using the Scales
• Gently tap the front corner of the scales with your foot. 88:88 will be displayed. Wait for the scales to
display . 0.0
• Carefully step onto the scales and stand with both feet in the centre of the platform (see fig.). Stand
erect and remain still. The scales will display your weight after a few seconds.
• Step off the scales. The scales will automatically turn off after a few seconds.
NOTES:
• Minimum weight is 10kg. The scales will not display any weight under the minimum weight.
• The scales will display Err when they are overloaded or when the batteries are low. Lo
• Proceed as follows when the scales show random digits:
o Remove the batteries and replace them after 10 seconds.
o Gently tap the front corner of the scales with your foot and wait for the scales to initialize.
• Check the batteries if you are getting inaccurate readings.
