HANDCUFFS HC 200
IMPORTANT!
PERFECTA handcuffs are intended for safe temporary restraining and transport of a suspect.
SPECIFICATIONS:
• suitable for any wrist size
• double locking mechanism
• security against any accidental or intentional tightening of the jaws
• keyways on both sides of each cuff
• anticorrosive surface treatment on all parts
• max. dimensions (closed): 225 x 75 x 10 mm
• weight: 286 g
MAINTENANCE:
Store the handcuffs in a dry and clean place at temperatures between +5°C and + 35°C.
Protect handcuffs from any dirt. Dust and dirt may cause malfunctions of the handcuffs. Peri-
odically clean your handcuffs and lubricate with a few drops of oil onto the locking
mechanism, ratchet and double-lock mechanism at the side of the cheek. Periodically inspect
the handcuffs to ensure their proper function when needed.

HANDCUFFING A SUSPECT:
Place the jaw of the handcuff against the suspect’s wrist and press the jaw into the cheek to
tighten the cuff against the skin. Be careful that the skin is not pinched in the jaws and that
blood circulation is not impeded. The jaw locks in the ratchet and the cuff now can be opened
only by using the key. Apply the other cuff in a similar manner. Double-lock the handcuffs
after both cuffs are in place.
DOUBLE-LOCKING THE CUFFS:
To double-lock the cuff, insert the pin on the back of the key
into the hole on the cheek and push the key inwards.
The cuff is now stopped from closing any further, preventing
injury to the wrist.
Note: To keep the handcuffs ready for immediate use
do not double-lock them while they are not in use.
UNLOCKING THE HANDCUFFS:
If the cuff is single-locked, insert the key into the keyhole and turn it counterclockwise.
If the cuff is double-locked, insert the key into the keyhole
and first turn it clockwise (1), overcoming a slight resis-
tance. This releases the double lock. Then turn the key
counterclockwise (2), releasing the jaw.

PFLEGE:
Bewahren Sie die Handschellen an einem trockenen und sauberen Ort und einer
Umgebungstemperatur zwischen +5°C und +35°C auf. Schützen Sie die Handschellen
vor Schmutz und Dreck. Staub und Schmutz können zu einer Fehlfunktion der Handschellen
führen. Säubern Sie die Handschellen in regelmäßig wiederkehrenden Abständen
und ölen Sie den Arretierungsmechanismus, die Zahnrasten und den doppelten
Verschlussmechanismus mit ein paar Tropfen Öl. Überprüfen Sie von Zeit zu Zeit die
Handschellen, um eine einwandfreie Funktion im Bedarfsfall zu gewährleisten.
