• Makesurethatyoualwaysuseagroundedwallsockettoconnecttheappliance.

• Removetheplugfromthewallsocketbypullingtheplug,notthepowercord.

• Makesurethattheappliance,thepowercordandplugdonotmakecontact

withwater.

• Makesurethattheappliance,thepowercordandplugdonotmakecontact

withhotsurface,suchasahothobornakedame.

• Checktheappliance’spowercordregularlytomakesureitisnotdamaged.

• Donotusetheapplianceifthepowercordisdamaged.Ifthepowercordis

damaged, it must be replaced by an electrical technician or a person with

similarqualication,inordertoavoidanyhazards.

• Theapplianceneedsspacetoallowheattoescape,therebypreventingthe

reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and

knowledge, butonly if theyhave been givensupervision orinstruction con-

cerninguseoftheapplianceinsafewayandunderstandthehazardsinvolved.

• Childrenshouldbesupervisedtoensurethattheydonotplaywiththeappliance.

• Cleaningandmaintenancemustnotbedonebychildren.

• Haveanyrepairscarriedoutsolelybyaqualiedelectrician.Nevertrytorepair

theapplianceyourself.

reducetheriskofre,keeptextiles,curtains,oranyotherammablemateriala

minimumdistanceof1mfromtheairoutlet.

INSTALLATION LOCATION OF THE APLICANCE

• Neverusetheapplianceinthevicinityofammablematerial.

• Certainpartoftheappliancemaygethot,suchasairoutlet.Donottouch

theseparttopreventscaldingyourself.

• Inuse,somepartsoftheradiatorarehot.Whenmoving,makesuretheradia-

torisswitchedoff.

• Donotusetheradiatorinareassuchasgarageswherepetrol,paintorother

ammablesubstancesareusedorstored.

• Donotplacetheradiatortofurniture,animals,curtainsorotherinammable

objects.Keepcombustiblematerialssuchasfurniture,beddingandanyother

combustiblematerialsatleast1metrefromthefrontandsides,andfromthe

rearoftheradiator.

• Besurethatnootherhighcurrentappliancesarepluggedintothesamecircuit

withyourradiatorasanoverloadcanoccur

• Todisconnecttheappliance,switchit“OFF”,andthenremovetheplugfrom

outlet.Donotpullthecordtodisconnecttheplug.

• Themostcommoncauseofoverheatingisdepositsofdustoruffintheap-

pliance.Ensurethesedepositsareremovedregularlybydisconnecttheap-

plianceandvacuumcleaningairventsandgrilles.

• Donotplacetheradiatoroncarpet,don’tplacethecableundercarpets.Ar-

rangecordawayfromtrafcareassothatitwillnotbetrippedover.

• Donotusethisradiatorintheimmediatesurroundingsofabath,ashoweror

aswimmingpool.

• Thisradiatorislledwithaprecisequantityofspecialoil.Repairsrequiring

openingoftheoilcontainer are only to be made bytheaftersalesservice

centre.whoshouldbecontactedifthereisanoilleak

• Whenscrappingtheradiator,followtheregulationsconcerningthedisposal

ofoil.
