27 varieties of fabulous curls
• Discover your look from natural to dened curls by the
27 curling combinations (3 timer settings x 3 temperature
settings x 3 curling direction). The various curling
direction, temperature and time settings can be used in
dierent combination to achieve your desired look every
time.
• The 3 temperature settings (170°C-190°C-210°C) and 3
timer settings (8sec-10sec-12sec) help you achieve great
results from loose to tight curls on dierent hair types.
For example, the high temperature setting with the extra
curling time will shape the curls tighter – ideal for thicker
hair. The low temperature setting combined with shorter
curling time is optimal for hair that needs extra hair
protection.
• 3 adjustable curling directions (left, right and alternate)
add more creativity to your curling routine. Right curls, left
curls – so you can curl each side in perfect symmetry – or
alternate curls to have a mix of right and left sided curls
for a completely natural look.

4 Curl Your Hair
How to use:
1 Connect the plug to a power supply socket.
2 Press the power on/o button ( ) to turn on the i
appliance.
» The heating up time is indicated by the blinking power-on
indicator ( h ). The appliance is ready for use when the
indicator stays stable.
» ( BHB878 only ) When the appliance is powered on, ions
are automatically and continuously dispensed, reducing
frizz and providing additional shine.
3 Select your desired curling time ( ) and temperature f
setting ( g ) according to the table as below.
• MoistureProtect preserves your hair’s natural moisture
by always ensuring the optimal temperature. Use 190 °C
setting for this optimal temperature.

4 Choose your desired curling direction ( ) according to e
the table as below.

5 Determine the amount of hair by using the hair sectioning
accessory ( l ). Start with a hair strand of 4cm in width.
• Note: Do not insert more hair into the curling chamber
( c ) than indicat ed by the hair sectioning accessory.
6 (Fig.1) Hold the appliance vertically. To easily insert the
strand of hair into the curling chamber, twist the hair
ONCE and hold on to it gently so that hair will not fall
out from the curling chamber. Ensure the strand of hair is
placed on the recess area ( b ) of the curling chamber.
7 PRESS and continuously HOLD the curling button
( d ). The strand of hair will be automatically curled
into the curling chamber.
» When the hair has been successfully curled into the
curling chamber, you will hear one beep at regular
intervals. If you do not hear any beeps and the hair is still
not curled into the curling chamber, remove the strand of
hair and try inserting it again.
8 When you hear continuous beeps, release your nger
from the curling button. Slowly and gently let the hair out.
9 Repeat steps 5-8 to style the rest of your hair.
5 Tips and Tricks
• For consistent results, avoid having t he hair split in both
sides of the barrel at t he same time.
• Comb hair thoroughly. Ensure there are no tangles before
curling.
• Separate hair into sections. Keep all unused hair away
from the opening of the curling chamber.
• To prevent tangles, use an amount of hair which ts within
the opening of the hair sectioning accessory.
• Make sure that no stray or loose strands are near the
opening of the curling chamber.
• Place hair on the recess area ( ) of the curling chamber b
and use the contours of the opening to guide hair into the
chamber.
• Use a smaller amount of hair for longer hair lengths and/
or to get more dened curls.
• To prevent excessive hair spinning, avoid putting too
much hair into the curling chamber. Also, ensure hair is
touching on the recess area ( b ) and hair is held taut.
Remarks:
• Press and hold the curling button until you hear the
continuous beeps. If you remove your ngers from the
curling button before the nal sound indications, DO NOT
press it again. Remove the hair and start over.
• The appliance intelligently identies when hair is severely
stuck and alerts you with one long beep. To protect your
hair from heat damage, the appliance will automatically
turn o. Free your hair and switch on the device before
curling again.
• Some steam can be observed during usage due to spray
or any other wet goods evaporating. The product is still
safe to use on hair.
• The barrel ( ) is hot. Avoid touching it. a
Note: The appliance has auto shut -o funct ion. It switches
o automatically after 60 minutes without usage.
6 After Use
1 Switch o the appliance and unplug it.
2 Place it on a heat-resistant surface until the curling
chamber cools down.
3 Keep it in a safe, dry place which is free of dust. You can
also hang it with the hanging loop ( j ).
Cleaning and Maintenance:
• Make sure the appliance is switched o and cooled down
before using the cleaning accessory.
• Clean the surface of the appliance with a damp cloth.
• ( Fig.3 ) Insert the barrel cleaning accessory ( k ) into the
curling chamber. Slide the cleaning accessory up and
down repeatedly to remove residues.
• To clean the cleaning accessory, wash it under running
water and leave it to dry completely before using it again.

Locken
• Wählen Sie aus 27 Stylingmöglichkeiten – ob natürlicher
Look oder denierte Locken, Sie haben es in der
Hand (3 Timer-Einstellungen x 3 Temperaturstufen
x 3 Lockenrichtungen). Damit Sie jedes Mal genau
die gewünschte Frisur erhalten, lassen sich die
Lockenrichtungen, Timer-Einstellungen und
Temperaturstufen beliebig miteinander kombinieren.
• Mit den 3 Temperaturstufen (170 °C - 190 °C - 210 °C) und
3 Timer-Einstellungen (12 Sek. - 10 Sek. - 8 Sek.) erreichen
Sie hervorragende Ergebnisse für weiche und denierte
Locken bei unterschiedlichen Haartypen. Die Einstellung
einer hohen Temperatur mit der zusätzlichen Lockenstufe
wird Ihre Locken zum Beispiel noch denierter formen
– ideal für dickeres Haar. Die Einstellung einer niedrigen
Temperatur in Kombination mit der kürzeren Lockenstufe
ist optimal für Haar, das zusätzlichen Schutz braucht.

Nach rechts eingedrehte Locken, nach links eingedrehte

4 Stylen von Locken
Verwendung:
1 Verbinden Sie das Netzkabel mit einer Steckdose.
2 Drücken Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter ( ), um das Gerät i
einzuschalten.
» Die Aufheizphase wird durch die blinkende
Betriebsanzeige ( h ) angezeigt. Das Gerät ist
betriebsbereit, wenn die Anzeige dauerhaft leuchtet.
» ( Nur für BHB878 ) Wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist,
werden automatisch und kontinuierlich Ionen abgegeben,
die die statische Auadung reduzieren und Ihrem Haar
mehr Glanz verleihen.
3 Wählen Sie die gewünschte Zeiteinstellung ( f ) sowie
die Temperatureinstellung für die Locken ( g ). Beziehen
Sie sich bitte auf die unten aufgeführte Tabelle.
• MoistureProtect bewahrt dank optimaler Temperatur die
natürliche Feuchtigkeit Ihres Haars. Verwenden Sie die
Einstellung 190 °C für diese optimale Temperatur.

4 Wählen Sie Ihre gewünschte Lockenrichtung ( e ) aus der
unten stehenden Tabelle aus.

5 Ermitteln Sie die Dicke der Haarsträhne mithilfe des
Zubehörs für die Strähnenunterteilung ( l ). Beginnen Sie
mit einer 4cm dicken Haarsträhne.
• Hinweis: Legen Sie nie mehr Haare in die Lockenkammer
( c ), als mit dem Zubehör für die Strähnenuntert eilung
ermitt elt.
6 (Abb. 1) Halten Sie das Gerät senkrecht. Drehen Sie
die Haarsträhne EINMAL, um das Einführen in die
Lockenkammer zu erleichtern. Halten Sie sie dabei etwas
fest, sodass es nicht wieder aus der Lockenkammer
herausfällt. Achten Sie darauf, dass sich die Haarsträhne
in der Vertiefung ( b ) der Lockenkammer bendet.
7 Halten Sie die Lockentaste GEDRÜCKT ( d ). Die
Haarsträhne wird automatisch in die Lockenkammer
eingezogen.
» Wenn das Haar in der Lockenkammer erfolgreich gelockt
wurde, hören Sie in regelmäß igen Abständen Signaltöne.
Wenn Sie keine Signaltöne hören und das Haar noch
nicht in die Lockenkammer gezogen wurde, entfernen Sie
die Haarsträhne aus der Kammer, und versuchen Sie es
erneut.
8 Lassen Sie die Lockentaste los, sobald Sie gleichmäßige
Signaltöne hören. Lassen Sie das Haar langsam
hinausgleiten.
9 Wiederholen Sie die Schritte 5-8, um den restlichen Teil
Ihrer Haare zu stylen.
5 Tipps und Tricks
• Um gleichmäßige Ergebnisse zu erzielen, sollte sich
das Haar immer nur auf einer Seite des Lockenstabs
benden.
• Kämmen Sie das Haar sorgfältig. Stellen Sie sicher, dass
das Haar frei von Knoten ist, bevor Sie den Lockenstab
verwenden.
• Teilen Sie das Haar in Strähnen. Halten Sie nicht
verwendete Haarsträhnen von der Önung der
Lockenkammer fern.
• Um Knoten zu vermeiden, verwenden Sie nur so viele
Haare, wie in das Zubehör für die Strähnenunterteilung
passen.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich keine losen Strähnen in der
Nähe der Önung der Lockenkammer benden.
• Legen Sie die Haarsträhne in die Vertiefung der
Lockenkammer ( b ), und halten Sie sich an die Konturen
der Önung, um das Haar in die Kammer zu führen.
• Bei längeren Haaren und/oder zum Stylen von
denierteren Locken sollten Sie dünnere Strähnen
verwenden.
• Um zu vermeiden, dass sich zu viel Haar eindreht, legen
Sie nicht zu dicke Haarsträhnen in die Lockenkammer.
Stellen Sie außerdem sicher, dass Ihr Haar die Vertiefung
( b ) berührt und stra gehalten wird.
Hinweise:
• Halten Sie die Lockentaste gedrückt, bis Sie gleichmäßige
Signaltöne hören. Wenn Sie die Lockentaste loslassen,
bevor Sie die nalen Signaltöne hören, drücken Sie sie
NICHT erneut. Entnehmen Sie die Haarsträhne, und
beginnen Sie von vorne.
• Das Gerät erkennt, wenn sich eine Haarsträhne ernsthaft
verfangen hat, und warnt Sie mit einem langen Signalton.
Um Ihr Haar vor Schäden durch Überhitzung zu schützen,
wird das Gerät automatisch ausgeschaltet. Befreien Sie
Ihre Haare, und schalten Sie das Gerät ein, bevor Sie mit
dem Stylen von Locken fortfahren.
• Während der Anwendung kann es sein, dass Dampf
von den Haaren aufsteigt, wenn Sprays oder andere
Flüssigkeiten verdampfen. Das Gerät kann weiterhin ohne
Bedenken verwendet werden.
• Der Lockenstab ( ) heizt sich auf. Fassen Sie ihn nicht a
an.
Hinweis: Das Gerät verfügt über eine Abschaltaut omatik. Es
schaltet sich nach 60 Minuten Inakt ivität automatisch aus.
6 Nach Gebrauch
1 Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, und ziehen Sie den
Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
2 Legen Sie es auf eine hitzebeständige Oberäche, bis die
Lockenkammer abgekühlt ist.
3 Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem sicheren, trockenen
und staubfreien Ort auf. Sie können es auch an der
Aufhängeöse ( j ) aufhängen.
Reinigung und Wartung:
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet und
abgekühlt ist, bevor Sie das Reinigungszubehör
verwenden.
• Reinigen Sie die Oberäche des Geräts mit einem
feuchten Tuch.
• ( Abb. 3 ) Setzen Sie das Reinigungszubehör für den
Lockenstab ( k ) in die Lockenkammer ein. Bewegen Sie
das Reinigungszubehör mehrmals nach oben und unten,
um Rückstände zu entfernen.
• Zur Reinigung können Sie das Reinigungszubehör unter
ießendem Wasser abwaschen. Lassen Sie es vollständig
trocknen, bevor Sie es erneut verwenden.

27 t ipos de rizos fabulosos
• Descubra qué look le gusta más con los 27 tipos de rizos,
desde naturales a denidos. Cuenta con tres ajustes
de temporizador, tres ajustes de temperatura y tres
direcciones de rizado. Puede utilizar los distintos ajustes
de dirección de rizado, temperatura y temporizador de
manera combinada para conseguir un look diferente
cada vez.
• Los tres ajustes de temperatura (170 °C-190 °C-210 °C) y
los tres ajustes de temporizador (8 s-10 s-12 s) le ayudan
a conseguir unos resultados estupendos, desde rizos más
amplios a otros más nos, para cada tipo de pelo. Por
ejemplo, con el ajuste de temperatura alta y un tiempo
adicional de rizado conseguirá unos rizos más nos

4 Rizado del cabello
Modo de empleo:
1 Enchufe la clavija a una toma de corriente.
2 Pulse el botón de encendido/apagado ( ) para i
encender el aparato.

7 MANTENGA PULSADO de forma continua el botón

8 Cuando oiga pitidos continuados, retire el dedo del botón
de rizado. Vaya retirando el mechón de pelo con cuidado.
9 Repita los pasos del 5 al 8 en el resto del pelo.
5 Consejos y trucos
• Para conseguir unos result ados uniformes, evite dividir
el pelo a ambos lados del cilindro al mismo tiempo.
• Peine bien el pelo. Asegúrese de que no tiene enredos
antes de empezar a rizar.
• Divida el pelo en secciones. Mantenga todas las
secciones de pelo que no esté rizando alejadas de la
abertura de la cámara de riz ado.
• Para evitar enredos, utilice cantidades de pelo que
quepan en la abertura del accesorio para dividir el
cabello.
• Asegúrese de que no haya mechones sueltos próximos a
la abertura de la cámara de rizado.
• Coloque el pelo en la zona hueca ( ) de la cámara de b
rizado y utilice los contornos de la abertura como guía
para introducir el pelo en la cámara.
• Utilice cantidades más pequeñas para cabellos largos y
para conseguir rizos más denidos.
• Para evitar que el pelo se rice demasiado, no introduzca

Notas:
• Mantenga pulsado el botón de rizado hasta que escuche
un aviso de varios pitidos. Si suelta el botón de rizado

de nuevo. Retire el mechón y vuelva a empezar.
• El aparato detecta automáticamente el momento en

Limpieza y mantenimiento:

4 Hiusten kihartaminen

5 Vinkkejä
