Overview
The PWD206 is a safety device using the most advance technologies of transponder chip that allow a user to
start his vehicle only after presenting a transponder tag to a hidden coil (loop antenna). The operation is fully
automatic and performance is 100% friendly.
Arming the System
To arm the system is fully automatic. The LED will flash rapidly after switching ignition off for 5 seconds.
The user will hear one (1) beep after 15 seconds, and the LED will flash slowly indicating the system is
arming.
Disarming the System
Switch ignition on (not start), the user presents his coded transponder tag to the hidden coil. If the
transponder code matched the code in the reader memory, the user will hear two (2) beeps and the LED will
flash twice, the system is disarming and will allow the user to start his vehicle.
If the user does not switch ignition on within 5 seconds, the LED will flash rapidly, and the system will auto
re-arm after 15 seconds.
User Transponder Tag Coding/Deleting (5 codes available)
1. Disarm the system and close the door.
2. Turn the ignition key to OFF/ON 5 times (OFF-ON, OFF-ON, OFF-ON, OFF-ON, OFF-ON), keep
ignition key at ON position.
3. ※Within 10 sec. hold 1st user tag to loop antenna area until LED flashes once and 1 beep. The system
will delete previously existed user tags from memory since new 1st user tag has been learned.
※ Within 10 sec. hold 2nd user tag to loop antenna area until LED flashes twice and 2 beeps.
※ Within 10 sec. hold 3rd user tag to loop antenna area until LED flashes three times and 3 beeps.
※ Within 10 sec. hold 4th user tag to loop antenna area until LED flashes four times and 4 beeps.
※ Within 10 sec. hold 5th user tag to loop antenna area until LED flashes five times and 5 beeps.
4. The system will exit programming/deleting mode immediately after programming the 5th user tag or
switching ignition off then on.
Test Searching Range
1. Disarm the system and close the door.
2. Turn the ignition key to OFF/ON 6 times (OFF-ON, OFF-ON, OFF-ON, OFF-ON, OFF-ON, OFF-ON),
keep ignition key at ON position.
3. Within 10 sec. present the tag to loop antenna.
※ LED will flash whenever tag reaches searching range.
※ The system will exit tag searching testing mode then enter auto arming if exceed 10 sec.
Override
Turning the ignition key to OFF/ON 8 times (OFF-ON, OFF-ON, OFF-ON, OFF-ON, OFF-ON, OFF-ON,
OFF-ON, OFF-ON) within 15 seconds, keep ignition key at ON position and hear one (1) beep. The system
is disarmed and you can turn the ignition key to start.
If you miss the OFF/ON sequences, turn ignition key to OFF and wait for 5 seconds, then repeat the
procedure.
