4 часа. Зеленая и красная линии делят периметр
циферблата на 6 четвертей, позволяют экипажу
вести счет вахт/смен.
► Russian watch/shift system (1)
The -crew on Russian ships & submarines is tradition
ally divided into 2 teams working in 4-hour watches/-
shifts. The green & red lines that divide the perimeter
of the dial into 6 quarters, allow the crew to keep count
of their watches/shifts.
► Международные морские сигнальные
флаги (2)
Цифры от “0” до “9” и слово “RAKETA” (2.1)
заменены на циферблате международными
морскими сигнальными флагами.
► International Marine signal flags (2)
Numbers from “0” to “9” and the word "RAKETA" (2.1)
are written on the dial using international marine
signal flags.
► Солярный компас (3)
Часы на 24 часа могут быть использованы как
солнечный компас. На циферблате часов есть
маркеры, обозначающие 2 стороны света. Т.к. это
российские часы, отметки двух сторон света
написаны кириллицей: СЕВЕР ( ) (ниже цифры С
“0”) и ЗАПАД ( ). З
Чтобы использовать часы на 24 часа в качестве
солнечного компаса, направьте часовую стрелку
на солнце. Тогда “0” укажет на Север, “12” на Юг,
“6” на Восток, “18” на Запад. Если Вы находитесь в
стране, которая перешла на летнее время (т.e. +1
час по сравнению со стандартным временем в
летние месяцы), Вы должны учитывать, что все
основные отметки установлены на 1 час “назад”;
пример: Запад будет на “17” вместо “18”. Если вы
находитесь в Южном полушарии, пожалуйста,
читайте все кардинальные знаки наоборот;
Пример: Юг на “0” вместо “12”.
► Solar Compass (3)
A 24 hour watch can be used as a solar compass. The
dial of the watch has markers indicating 2 of the
cardinal points. Since this is a Russian watch, the
symbols of these 2 cardinal points are in cyrillic
alphabet: “ ” (which is below the “0”) refers to North C
and “ ” to West.З
To use your 24 hour watch as a solar compass,
please point the hour hand towards the sun. “0” will
then be pointing towards the North, “12” towards the
South, “6” towards the East and “18” towards the
West. If you are in a country which switched to
daylight saving time (i.e. +1 hour from standard time
during summer months), you have to consider that all
the cardinal marks are 1 hour “backwards”; ex: the
West will be at “17” instead of “18”. If you are in the
Southern hemisphere, please invert all the cardinal
marks; ex: South will be at “0” instead of “12”.
► Морские кардинальные знаки (4)
Морские кардинальные знаки на часах
предназначены для защиты от навигационных
опасностей. Они указывают опасность и
направление к безопасной воде. В качестве
ограждающих знаков на циферблат нанесены буи
цветовой расцветки с установленными наверху
указателями в виде двух треугольников.
Используя схему (4.1) на циферблате, можно
определить положение опасности относительно
буя.
► Marine cardinal buoys (4)
Marine cardinal buoys are intended to protect from
navigation dangers. They are used to indicate the
position of a hazard and the direction towards safe
water. Buoys of color in the shape of 2 triangles at the
top of the dial are used to indicate navigation signs.
Using the diagram (4.1) on the dial, you can
determine the position of the hazard relative to the
buoy.
