The Keyfadr is a designated controller for Ableton and is a class compliant USB

plug and play device for Mac and PC.

Connect your laptop to the Keypad using the USB cable supplied.

CONTROLLER SECTION

ENCODER Turn to pan / Push to select CH

CONTROL KNOBS Send and return

THREE BUTTONS Channel on/off, Solo and Arm

FADER Channel volume

SHIFT

Hold SHIFT + One of the buttons below to:

SET MARKER Marks the time line

< MARKER > Move to next marker

CYCLE Loops selection

DAW TAP Tap global tempo manually

METRONOME Activates metronome

<< / >> Nudges tempo

LAUNCH SECTION

PLAY Global play

STOP Global stop

RECORD Global record

SHIFT + PLAY Launches your scene

SHIFT + STOP Stops all clips

SHIFT + RECORD Activates overdub

SHIFT / SCENE

Pressing this swaps between two different midi presets

allowing you more variation in your set up. (CH 9-16)

Holding SHIFT/SCENE and pressing on a specific

function will activate second layer control

Hold SHIFT + Octave up / down buttons to

navigate through your scenes in Ableton

INTERNAL CONTROL MODES

The inbuilt performance modes add dynamic control to your

production

RESET

Will turn off any internal modes

TAP

Tap the tempo manually in Arp mode

ARP (refer to next page)

Activates the internal Appregiator

SUS

Press sustain whilst playing to hold the

note (Hold pedal)

VEL

If the velocity button is activated the keyboard

and drum pads will send the full

velocity at any pressure (127)

OCTAVE UP & DOWN

You can move through all octaves by

pressing up and down
