INTRODUCTION
Thank you for your purchase of the MA66 2 zone mixer / 20 X 20 watt Power Ampli er.
REAR PANEL
PS24: For connection to the included power supply.
SPEAKER OUTPUTS: Push terminals for connection to speaker wire.
REMOTE PAD: 3 Pin barrier strip for connection to a remote potentiometer for volume pad control. 100K Ohm audio taper
potentiometer is recommended.
LINE LEVEL OUTPUTS: RCA line level outputs.
POST MASTER: Is the output that is after (post) Master Volume controls on the front panel.
PRE MASTER: Is the output that is before (pre) Master Volume controls on the front panel.
SOURCE INPUTS: Stereo RCA jacks, Channels 1 - 4, for connection to stereo sources such as AM/FM tuners, MP3 play-
ers, cd players, or video players.
DIP SWITCH: Contains the small switches for engaging Mic 1 and 2 phantom power, the priority (Talk Over) functions,
and the Talk Over Release Time select.
NOTE: The release time is eected by this setting, plus the level of input signal - the higher the input signal, the longer the
release time.
Mic 1 - 2: XLR inputs for dynamic or condenser microphones, or balanced line-level signals.
MIC/LINE SWITCHES: For selection of mic or line level inputs to the XLR 1 and 2 inputs (Pad is 30 dB).
FRONT PANEL
Mic 1 - 2 LEVEL: Adjust the level of signal from the corresponding Mic Input.
1 - 4 LEVEL: Adjust the level of signal from the corresponding source Input.
ZONE: Sets the zone output for the channel indicated.
ZONE 1: Signal for that channel will be sent to Zone 1 output.
ZONE 2: Signal for that channel will be sent to Zone 2 output.
BOTH: Signals for that channel will be sent to both Zone 1 and Zone 2 outputs.
IN 4: 3.5mm Input jack to Source Input 4.
Source 1 - 4: Adjust the volume of input from the RCA Source Inputs, and the 3.5mm in.
MASTER VOLUME 1&2: Adjusts the overall volume of the MA66 Main Outputs.
pwr: LED indicating power is applied to the MA66 and the unit is on.

EDGE OF AUDIO ELECTRONICS, BALANCED AND UNBALANCED CON-
NECTIONS, AND PROPER SIGNAL LEVEL SETTING.

1. Unpack and inspect the MA66 box and package.
If obvious physical damage is noticed, contact the carrier immediately to make a damage claim. We suggest saving the
shipping carton and packing materials for safely transporting the unit in the future.

DIP SWITCH SETTINGS
- PHANTOM POWER: If a microphone requires phantom power, move the Mic channels corresponding PHANTOM
POWER DIP switch to the down position. This applies 24 volts phantom power to the indicated microphone.
- Talk Over Zone Assignment 1: When in the ON position, all program material on ZONE 1 will be ducked or muted when
signal is present on MICROPHONE 1 or MICROPHONE 2. As a note at least one of the mics must be set to Zone 1 to talk
over. This function is used for paging.
- Talk Over Zone Assignment 2: When in the ON position, all program material on ZONE 2 will be ducked or muted when
signal is present on MICROPHONE 1 or MICROPHONE 2. As a note at least one of the mics must be set to Zone 2 to talk
over. This function is used for paging.
- T.O. Release Time 1: This adjusts the Talk Over Release time for Zone 1.
- T.O. Release Time 2: This adjusts the Talk Over Release time for Zone 2.
Down = Long release time UP = Shorter release time
Connect low impedance microphones to the Mic inputs (or line level XLR signals with the mic/line switch set to the proper
setting). Connect source signals such as CD players, MP3 players or video players to the RCA Source Inputs. Connect
3.5mm sources to the front panel input.
The slotted holes in the back of the MA66 are for the attachment of a wire tie (included on the PS24 cord) or a small zip
tie (not included), for power cord strain relief as needed. Just thread the tie thru the holes and attach the cord.
REMOTE PAD: 3 Pin barrier strip for connection to a remote potentiometer for volume pad control. 100K Ohm audio taper
potentiometer is recommended (others will work).
2: Connection to potentiometer to pad Zone 2.
COMM: Common Ground for connection to pots.
1: Connection to potentiometer to pad Zone 1. As illustrated. As a note if the potentiometer pad is working
opposite of what you intended just reverse the wires going to that potentiometer.
